You mean against the New Jersey red cows, and I'm not sure. I'm going, so that's one. But if it's any indication, the lines outside the stadium and traffic getting into the parking lot, seem a lot crazier over the last few weeks. IMO Should be a good crowd despite falling on a weekday
I have a feeling that in order to increase the attendance they pushed the time back to 8:00 from its original 7:30 start time. I know for me this half hour makes a HUGE difference in the amount of traffic I have to fight getting to the stadium. Without traffic I'm looking at a 25 minute drive, with traffic on a week night it has taken me almost an hour and a half. Hooray for decent planning....and beer.
thursday is a school night for csudh...so i think they might limit the attendance to 12,500 (like the pachuca superliga final match) ? that would be kinda sad if this was true for cobi's final game with the galaxy.
It's not limited. The limit comes into play for extra games like the Superliga, not for regularly scheduled league games. But the school night will probably affect the parking availability. Saturday night was a zoo for both traffic and parking. I think Thursday will be the same.
I predict the stadium is going to be packed, and traffic is going to a pain in the ass. All the indications of a good game are there: If the first LAG vs. RBNY game was that exciting, imagine how its going to be now that Galaxy are on home turf. That, but the possible chance of Beckham vs. Angel round 2 will definitely keep people interested. For a lot of college students (including myself), I don't have classes on Friday, so Thursday night is pretty much the perfect way to kick off the weekend.
It will sell-out. Tomorrow the Beckham circus will start with the media, add the playoff factor and you will draw a packed house.
The 8pm push-back time was key for a good many of us in Los Angeles Unified School District. My school has back-to-school night and I was stressing about leaving early. Now, I dont have that same concern and am SO excited for the game. Packed house for sure. Fight on!
