So 2 negative pics out of 11 of those shown.

Anyone know if the negative banners were allowed to hang, or were they eventually taken down? I guess Portland (Solo's neck of the woods) could be interesting.

I was at the game and know that the banners were allowed to hang. I didn't see the last one but did see the "Ladies your coach failed you" banner. It was up the whole game.

No one bothered us about hanging up the signs. The guy next to me in the green took issue with one of them, but I straigtened him out :) I was a little worried at half time when I left them, but they were still hanging when I got back which must have been when this picture was taken..Ah...you all missed your chance to see me ;) ...I was off getting a beer ....and Yeah, its "Unforgiving....."

You have completely blocked her from your memory... whoa. You used to call us the posting twins or something like that...then piper joined in and then it was a trio thing... where one would post, the others were sure to follow. We were the pro-Beat squad and well, you were anything but pro-Beat, eh?

Loved your signs...I've been sick over the treatment of Hope Solo. I wish I could have been there to add a sign or two! Nice showing!

And yes...I see the swine over-head now... watch out for flyin' pig dung!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I guess the Army is always a better alternative to jail for Mel......thanks for the props, just wish there were more people expressing the sentiment. The best way to change things is withholding $$ from USSOCCER. If I had not already bought tickets for my niece I would not have given them one dime. Too bad St. Louis had a good turnout, though that is a bit encouraging for the future WUSA franchise.

I normally would have been at the game with only a short drive from Chicago. Instead I opted to drive around 15 hours to Chapel Hill to see a UNC/Duke double header thurs. and UNC/USC football Sat. I wish these two events weren't on the same weekend.
However Gayle, next game is in Portland and you may get more interesting signs there. Not saying anything bad about St. Louis but Portland is a hotbed for women soccer and you'll probably get more fans with a wider opinion of the events of China WWC07. I wish this was on TV.

Also isn't Solo from the PNW? I would imagine folks would want to see her on the field and not shagging balls.
