I am glad I stayed to watch the reserves game. Much better play (a 6-2 stomping of L.A.) through out than compared to the main event. Dalglish was a mad man (2 goals) so was Wondo (2 goals), Davis got 1, and I did not see where the 6th goal came from.

Yeah I got a really good view of that Donopuss should be suspended for that... but the league would never do it.

Seems like recklessly injuring fans ought to merit some sort of discipline. What a prick.

I dunno how they get the refs. I saw Abbey on the Fox Soccer Friday night college game of Maryland/Virginia. I was like "HUH"...guess he was doing the DC United game next. maybe he was tired and didn't want to ref a Sunday game.

I actually work with a local ref that knows a few people. I'll see what he says.

Actually it was 5-2. Wondo had two goals, Holden, Davis and Dalglish had one each. Dalglish had several other chances that he should have finished on, but he didn't - two 1v1 with the LA keeper and he blew both of them. The goal Paul scored was a nice move from the left side of the box and a nice finish. Wondo had a laser left footed shot from long range for his first goal, and then a very nice header off a great Davis cross.

I was not as impressed with Dalglish as you were - he had a ton of chances because the LA defense was so bad, but he blew them and he was also offside a ton of times. Davis looked really good out there, as did Wondo and Ianni. It could have been much worse for LA- the Dynamo reserves totally outplayed LA, and I don't think I'm exaggerating to say they could have scored 5 more goals just finishing some of the chances they missed. It helped to have so many of the more experienced guys playing - Ianni, Davis, Holden, Clark, Wondo and Dalglish. It was the best they have played for a while.

On the regular game, very disappointing loss. Really would have liked to see Dom sub out Jaqua and Ngwenya sooner - both were really slow at the end and looked dead. Waibel looked really off tonight, maybe because of his injury, but he was really slow to react on several plays. Mullan, on the other hand, played amazingly well for not having even practiced the past couple of weeks.

Charlie Pullilo said the Ching was on the starting line-up. Glenn Davis didn't correct him about the subs. didn't know there was a rule about that.

That seems to be par for the course for the ball girlies.

What I'd like to know is who the friggin' genius was that chucked a half-full water bottle onto the pitch when our guys are trying to execute a corner kick in second-half stoppage time.

I gotta say, and it sucks to be honest about a bad game but it has to be done. Abbey was terrible, yes, but we have to stop leaning back on that and take responsibility for not sealing the deal. There were bad calls both ways. Several times I felt like we got away with pleanty and there were definately times where we got callas that were questionable at best.

That being said, Champions don't lose games becasue of the Ref. There was no fix, there was no conspiracy, we just didn't play Championship football. There's no doubt in my mind that we will still do well no matter where we get seeded in the playoffs. There is nobody who can beat us when we play our best game. It's all good. We still have a great team, Abbey still blows, we have to step up our game despite bad refs and no show international "stars."

We can do better, we will do better. Stop saying the game was fixed, it only fuels the big soccer idiots. It's a terrible sign of poor losers. We lost, but can we at least do it with a little dignity and admit that we didn't play well today. We'll be fine. Dale Dynamo!

Don't know but it was a good thing he/she did because Brad's corner was too strong so he was given a second chance by the ref stopping play.

I've been gone all day, and came back to see this shocking score. You lost? That's ok, it happens sometimes. But to the LA GALAXY? HELL NOOOO!!! Damn. If they make it into the playoffs, then it's going to be really, really hard to continue to defend MLS against people who say it's a ************ league if LA can get a playoff spot. Man, this is bad, this is bad.

Here's a 360 I took of the inside of the stadium. Website says we topped 30k attendance and I believe it. It was a capacity crowd.

    ???????
The top 8 teams make it into the playoffs. Why would MLS be a **** league just because LA makes it to the playoffs???
IF we make it, then I say it's because we deserved it. We'll have to go on a 7 game winning streak just to pull this off. Given our schedule and injury woes and the state our team was in just a month ago, pulling off 7 wins in a row would be pretty impressive.
So let me get this straight.... MLS would be worse for having a team like that in the playoffs?
And you would need to defend MLS against the kind of moron that would say such a thing??

IF we make it, which is still very much an IF... but IF we make it, i would think this would prove that the season is not over till it's over. We were being written off by EVERYONE a month ago, and yet we are proving that it may go down to the last couple of games. The playoff format is that the top 8 teams make it in. Whoever wins those games and gets the points earned it. Anyone who can't see that basic fact probably couldn't handle a reasoned explanation anyway.

dammit, i promised i wouldn't post in this thread cuz i was going to get upset all over again but you brought up something that really disturbed me......

#1 i know its cute to use little boys & girls as ball boys and the moms are all proud of little brittney and taylor, but for godsakes please someone give the kids a brief rundown on how its supposed to be done!!!!! i don't blame the kids, i blame the adult (Dynamo personnel) that is charged of coordinating the ball kids. hell, if i have to i'll dress up in full dynamo gear (like the FC Dallas ball-man) and do it myself!!!!

#2 TO ALL THE PRIKS IN THE 100 SECTION:
stop throwing sht. seriously the bottle was uncalled for (btw, i talked to Paul/Dynamo Stadium Ops after the game and he realizes it didn't come from TA/EB). but's worse is you a-holes didn't learn the lesson from the Toronto game, the opposing keeper uses the streamers to delay the game. but the one did upset me was the moron that hit DeRo in the head with a streamer. either someone in the 100's (i'm looking at you SenorCool) needs to take a leadership position and tell people to calm the fck down when appropiate or the other choice is mr. *rey* is going down there to lay down the law. i'm tired of all you cksckrs!!!!

We get taunted by the other team when they score and have guys get hurt by soccer balls turned into missles, it's not easy being in the 100's

    HATER !!
