    What is really the difference between the two games?
    I've played football manager...and I d/led both demos and honestly don't see the difference, other then colour schemes and different wording

    There is no difference. FM is sold in Europe, and WWSM is sold in the US. They're the same game, only the name is different.

    Yep. those are the only differences. but you can change even those things. So really, there is no difference besides the title.

    Fm2008/wwsm2008 "continue" glitch

    Has anyone noticed a glitch where you can't give the after game talk. On my pc (vista) after the game is over the game speeds on through the next week to like the day before the next game. Is there a setting that fixes this or will there be a patch to fix this if it's a glitch?

    I'd really like to have more control over how many days are being passed when I press continue, especially if there's an injury or if I'm pursuing a player or if I want to talk trash for the upcoming match.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    For those who have played Fifa Manager and seen the 3D, is it really worth it? Does it look good and is it fun to watch?

    Because i am currently playing football manager 08 (bought the game) and i love it!! But the match is in 2d. So i wanted to know if the fifa manager is good for watching the match. I played the demo and i was really surprised, i really liked it but it didnt show the 3d match in the demo.

    It is okay if you like to see how your players are actually playing and some of the neat moves like 360 are fun to watch ..also nutmegs....

    But I guess I am more used to 2D or FM styled circle shaped game play.

    The 3D mode is similar to the FIFA 0* Series, but the player AI isn't as sharp. I've had games where the striker is wide open inside the 18 and passes back instead of shooting, or the defenders completely blow by the attacker and give him an open shot. It's not perfect, but IMO it will give you a better idea of how specific individuals are doing better than the 2D, and the scores I've had so far are pretty realistic.

    For example, two strikers have the same shots on goal, but with 3D I can see how they got open for those shots and what types of shots they were better, instead of simply seeing a ball slide across the overhead 2D field. Not to mention that FIFA Manager has a Match Analysis Tool that will replay any played match in 2D, just like WWSM if that's what you like.

    Also, if you are a FIFA fan, you can take control of a single player during a game. You don't have all the trick moves that you do in FIFA, though. It's the basics: long pass, short pass, shoot, slide tackle, shoulder tackle, call for the ball. I played it for the first time last night with Cyprus in Euro 2008 group quals. It was actually pretty fun getting my player into position on the attack and getting back to help on defense. Plus it has a stadium builder, kit designer, and an external database editor that comes with it that make it interesting outside of solely being in the manager's shoes.

    Since I got FIFA Manager 08, I haven't even fired up WWSM 08 again. FIFAMan isn't as deep and detailed as WWSM08, but it is deep enough for those who don't have hours and hours to invest in WWSM.

    Basically, as far as game detail and complexity it's:

    FIFA 08 Manager Mode <---> FIFA Manager 08 <---> FM/WWSM 08
