Those last 20 minutes were among the longest of my life.

But right now, I don't care. I'm going to wear my scarf to everything I do tomorrow, and I'm going to take immense pride in explaining to anyone and everyone why I'm doing so.

Hi, I do not believe so. Superliga is the top four teams after the regular season. C.C.C. is the top team after the regular season, plus the playoff winner. If the same team wins both then the second place team in the MLS final goes.

Nice win Revs, I watched the game in San Diego on FSC. Tojas was wearing a Revs goalie jersey while getting his second place medal. Actually pretty cool.

I believe that was Reis'. He had on a FCD kit, inside out though so you couldn't tell what player he traded with.

Thank God for the time difference between the East and West Coasts! I STILL have another hour-and-ten-minutes of pub-based celebrating to do. WOO-HOO!!!

Of course, the cynic in me has already begun to have visions of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup sitting on the floor in the Patriots' locker room, propping open the door to an equipment closet.

No... there's no time for that now! Let's bring home "The Treble"!!!

Just popped in to say good job and you deserve the trophy after years of coming up just short.........hope you have a successful end to the season and maybe (if the other teams in the west are suddenly killed or maimed) we'll meet again in MLS cup

    Anyways, congratulations on the win.

    Buzzkill.

What if we won the cup and no one noticed?

From what I've seen of the news on the local big 3 TV stations last night and this morning, none of them said one word about the Rev victory.

As Nicol would say, "We won, all the rest is rubbish." :) Would have to agree with him actually.

Congratulations to the Revs and the entire organization - this has been a long wait. Hopefully we won't have to wait as long for the next trophy. :D

Even though it is all 'rubbish' some things to consider about last night: we played in the opponent's home field and we played without our MVP. That's quite a feat the team accomplished - hat's off to them.

  11. Does anyone know if the Red Sox won last night???

It was. Toja swapped shirts with Reis.

  15. Maybe someone asked this already so I apologize ....but, is that a new trophy they are using? I know they have been using the DeWars trophy the last few years but I don't think I've ever seen that one before. Very traditional look to it!

Minor point, but I think it's the second-place team in the Supporters' Shield standings that would go if the SS and MLS Cup winner is the same team.
