Yeah, at least I have Henry on my fantasy team, which mitigates what is a predictable victory by Barca anyway.

Scary stuff, Messi put Henry through with a beautiful pass with his *right* foot. Is there nothing this kid can't do?

On another note, Elano scored a wonder goal against Newcastle. Reminds of Hugo Almeida against Inter a couple of seasons ago.

Golazo by Messi, takes out a defender and slots it in the far corner of the goalie.

Watching Bar$a bully little Levante is depressing. Even the fact that I have Henry in my fantasy team isn't consolation enough. Its like they're taking candy from a baby.

Now when we visit, they'll play out of their skins, injure a couple of our players and sneak a 1-0 or a draw. Bastards.

I don't, just like i never had any Barcelona player in my lineup.

The guys who do have him, have to live with the fact of cheering on a Barcelona player to score, and if you[whoever that might be] win the competition at the end of the year, it will be tainted by lovely red and blue colors.

I hope you have fun. :)

My father asked me if i wanted to watch it, i told him it would be over in the first 35 minutes, why even waste time watching it?Seems like i was right.

All while Betis and Villareal kick lumps out of Barcelona after we beat them.Edit:...and Espanyol, the No.1 team out of Barcelona. :D

It levels out.I was reading an interview with Illgner, and he basically said, there are people who like Real Madrid in Spain, and the rest of the Country hates the Club, the players, the fans and everything surrounding it, he wrapped it up by saying that the success of the past[and the beatings they received] is still deep within many people.

    Side info about tonights match:
Levante's Bruno Cirillo[and another player] was actually kicked out of AEK Athens for telling Serra Ferrer he should "play himself if he knows better".

this is what pisses me the hell off when we go play levante their going to shut up like little clams and play with 9 defenders and a striker but when they play the ********ing cules they play with 4 ********ing forwards also we are still on the top of the table but the cules are dominating the goal charts im sure going to hear flack about this on monday

They can win the 'we look great in pictures' award as well.As long as the Bernabeu is satisfied with the team, and the team is successful, what happens in Barcelona is business of the Ministry of foreign affairs, only.

I normally can't stand to have cules on my team. I put Henry on before he had ever played for them, somehow that didn't feel as disgusting since I generally pictured him playing in the Arsenal and France shirts. I never cheer for him, I'm with maca in hoping that my having him on my team will surely jinx him. (My juju must be weak today.)

Now that he's truly one of them, I just take an extra shower a day to deal with having him on my team. :)

BTW, where is demo? *starts stopwatch* :p

    I wouldn't say that.

Even against Betis, the team left applauded by the home fans. The only incident that suggest otherwise is before halftime against Betis, where obviously, the team needed to wake up.

Whistling your team while they are trying VERY hard isn't what loyal fans are supposed to do. If they wanted them to wake up they could have stood up and joined the Ultras Sur in singing/cheering for the team.

I've read somewhere that alot of tourists go to watch RM play. They don't go there just to see RM win, they want dribblings, flowing football and things like that but a true SUPPORTER SUPPORTS the team in good and bad times.

    Liverpool fans are an example.

There is the "aw, we played good, and gave everything but we didn't win" reaction, and there is the "uhm, guys, you sure you know you're there to play football tonight?"

I haven't seen a bad playing Real Madrid team leave the field as heroes. What matters a lot is effort, and the fans are very sensible about it.When the crowd thinks the team isn't doing enough, they make themselves noticed.A ticket isn't for free, so people expect to at least see some people try to give their best for the money they paid to see them.

It's been this way, and it will be this way, players who can't handle this don't come to Madrid in the first place, or leave in shock like Emerson did.

    Cultures differ.
Real Madrid fans could start lighting bonfires in the streets, and leaving huge piles of beer cans in Champions League away games.

You have to take the good with the bad.

You can't expect a bad singing artist to hear the crowd cheer for him to push him to sing better, so why should a bad playing team earn applause when they are not doing their best?

Considering this is a club owned by the people and our players are paid handsomely, I disagree.

I'm not saying our crowd shouldn't be a little bit more supportive, but they sure do have a right to voice their opinions. Also to give them some respect they weren't whistling and "booing" after our teams first horrible 60+ minutes at Betis, so give them some credit.

I've never understood the "SUPPORTERS SUPPORT THE TEAM" idea.

If Madrid are doing crap, i'm going to hate them for it, i'm not going to start supporting another team, but this blind love for your team just so you can be called a supporter is crap imo.
