always open. flimsy challenges. and cost us a goal.

they should really consider him for reserves.

Yet?? I doubt he'll ever be good. He's been my least favorite players of all time with the Galaxy. I can't stand watching him play.

Can't remember the last time anyone said Roberts had a good game. I think he is definitely the weakest link in our starting lineup. But bringing him in off the bench as a sub next year wouldn't inspire much confidence from me either

Man, you need to watch more games. I can think of several former Galaxy players from over the years who make Roberts look like freakin' Cannavaro in comparison...

You mean just in defense or all over the pitch? Is there enough bandwidth in this forum to really list everyone here? ;)

I hate to say it, but Randolph could have cost us 3 pens in the last 2 games.

    2 very clear hand balls.
1, close hell two of them were in last nights game.

problem being is i've met the kid and he's very cool.

I think putting the blame on Roberts is a bit hasty. The ENTIRE defense is terrible and Troy is a part of the problem. However, he has been injured twice this season and a ridiculous schedule orchestrated by Alexi Lalas hurts the team as a whole. Joe Cannon has done an even worse job. He was supposed to be a better keeper than Hartman and he gives up dumb goals left and right. Lets give Cronin a chance the rest of the year, he has promise. I think Lalas should get fired, give Yallop some QUALITY youth and experience and see if he can work the same magic he did when he won some MLS cups. I believe we should let our youngsters get a run and get rid of the old legs, (Cannon, Xavier, Klein, Vanegas). Good thing we got rid of Robbie Findley...Lets get some youth on the field with Donovan and Becks to play with and some experience in the front office.

    Um what?
The youth we have on defense basically sucks. You can have 1 youngster in back, as long as he is surrounded by experience. Get rid of Cannon, Xavier, Klein, Vanegas??? WTF

I wish Roberts:mad: and Veris:mad: were both on the bench with no playing time in sight! Stick with a healthy Harden/Xavier central defense with Albright on the right and Jazic on the left (preferably Randolph if he is not left mid) and our defense is solid! :D

You missed Randolph. The guy is a total momentum killer and can't keep up with attacking forwards. If he had all the space and time in the world he'd still pass it back to Cannon.

And Vagenas and Roberts are horrible, I don't understand how people can think they contribute to the team positively at all. Gordon and Buddle couldn't sprint and make an inteligent stike if their lives depended on it. So I can understand why Cannon is so frustrated. Harsh, but true, and I had to get this off my chest.

Randolph is very well liked on this board. Vagenas sucks, but he is so far from teh worst on the team that he need not be mentioned in a thread like this.

Randolph is also a work in progress...and from what we have seen he is going to be a good left back for this team (and hopefully not another team)

Randolph is our breakout player for this season. I'm really liking him. He's a beast.

Tudela looked AWFUL against Salt Lake.... Although he looked ok against Dallas. Kirk was the one that looked AWFUL in that game.

Kirk played injured. He was a last-minute addition after Kelly Gray aggravated an injury in warmups. Guess Quavas was the lesser of the 2 injuries.

Just about everybody is playing with some sort of injury/tiredness. It's just a crap shoot at this point and hard to assess individual players.

Except Pavon, of course. He just plain sucks.
