I got satelite tv so i was forced to order the sports package to get the game. There is such a difference between msg, espn and fox soccer channel. The fsc channel really do a good pre, game and post game coverage. I'm glad that i did order it. I would have like a win but I settle for the 1 point considering how porous our defense has been. I thought that vanderberg did a real good job when he was switched to the back line.

Yeah, we just switched to dish a few months ago so now I have FSC. Although anything is easier on the ear than listening to the dorks that do the ESPN broadcasts, I have to admit that Bretos is starting to get under my skin. Is he stuck on himself, or what? Jayzus.

Bretos is ok, one thing that you'll hear alot of on FSC is the extreme over pronunciation of players names

    You're kidding, right?

    Max Bretos? Good?

The man is awful. Especially when he sucks off Beckhma or Blanco. It's disgusting. As is advocating any sort of favoritism from thye referrees touwards said star players. Disgusting and disgraceful.

    The man is puke

I actually don't mind Sullivan most of the time - even if he joined in the Blanco suckfest. I just think there are times when it sounds like his brain is using babelfish to translate from spanish to english

MSG does an excellent job with the RBNY matches. Just this season they are only producing the home matches while taking the signal from the other clubs TV station because they aren't going on the road. RBNY played around with MSG and didn't get sponsers in time to promote a pre-game, post game show.

Agreed. I'd rather listen to JP and Shep do any match than any other commentary team. I still think it sucks that ESPN would not name JP as #1 play-by-play man for the WC last year

Well said, Bretos is simply awful. He speaks alot, but with very little substance.

    I like Sullivan.

Yeah their road telecasts are severely bush league call the away matches from inside a studio rather than traveling.

    Very low brow.

Sure, he's a coked-up freak, but I will always cherish him for referring to Carlos Bocanegra as "Ol' Charlie Blackmouth."

I saw a game on HDNet the other day. What a difference. I wasn't impressed with the commentators but they weren't bad either.

Dudes, the stadium looks so different on HD. Yes, I know it sounds corny, but its true. For a while I thought it wasn't the swamp, cuz the cameras were closer on the team and everything looked . . smaller more compact but in a +ve way. . .

IF the scoreboard is going to look like that every game I'm down I like it.

yeah, gotta agree with that. The only problem I had with it was they had room for the clock to countdown, but left the space blank.

    Maybe it wasn't ready?

I'm guessing this is something for the football team that Red Bull is using? I like it though and they should get one of their own for RBP
