I'd filp the Rising one the other way so the point of the triangle is pointing down. Other than that...LOVE the Firebird!!!
this one is my favorite. I really like those colors too. As far as the Atlanta Rising, could you try some different colors? those that you picked out kind of give me a headache. I could go either way with any of those names though. Atlanta Rising, Apollo Atlanta, Atlanta Olympic, and Atlanta Locomotive. But i have to admit that right now i'm leaning towards Atlanta Locomotive after seeing that crest.
Not too bad, but I'd rather have Coca-Cola as the shirt sponsor, seeing that TNT isn't really an Atlanta entity now (I forgot if they were sold by Time-Warner/AOL or not)
i like that, but i'd get rid of the hoops though. Maybe make the border stripes blue instead of white. Regardless, nice job. Oh yeah! and you know the shirt sponsor would have to be chick-fil-a, zaxby's, or waffle house

Overall...all cool names... can I say that I wouldnt mind a team getting into MLS with a name something more American rather than trying to American-ize a European or South American Name Siege Atlanta is freakin' awesome...and that Atlanta Rising logo is brilliant... You do good work DJTanner...keep it up Personally.... Atlanta Heat...would be my fav.... also (I think) on the City of Atlanta crest there is some sort of Phoenix...maybe something incorporating that...would work on the logo/name.... Ha! RISING!!!! that looks great! actually, they all look great. The colors of the RISING are a bit WNBA, but the overall impression is great. Good work, keep it up. Well if you guys want to change name it would be the Silverbacks but the the mascot is great but the name is got to go here are some ideas: Atlanta FC or other way around (Maybe) Resurgence FC (from the cities seal) Atlanta 1847 Union of Atlanta FC Atlanta United Atlanta SC (Soccer Club) or other way around A-Town FC well thats all the name ideas i could come up with but hey anytime atlanta can change just dont leave out the gorilla mascot. Check in with youre local Zoo why the Soccer team choiced that name Silverbacks. Just for Fun but hey anything can happen.
another name that has been suggested for Atlanta is Sparta Atlanta. Not saying it's my favorite, but i wanted to see what yall thought. I have to say that i'm still in the Atlanta Locomotives bandwagon.
i don't really like it either. But i will give the europosers some credit because the Spartans were some bad dudes, but the name just doesn't seem to click well with Atlanta. It's almost like naming the team Bayern Atlanta. Now, Atlanta Spartans is a name i wouldn't mind. Still, i have to say that Atlanta Locomotives is my #1 as of 24 SEP 07.
I too have to date my choices. If you look back through these threads, you will see that my opinion has changed many many times. Go Terminus FC, uh.. I mean Heart of the South FC, err... Atlanta Firebirds... Ah, dag nabbit! Just name the team whatever you want... I'll be in the seats either way!
