The point of him turning down that Derby deal is because he wants to go to a bigger club.

Blackburn, Bolton, Wigan, and Pompey are his best options.

This is a classic BigSoccer thread, where a vague article with no concrete progress, just GAM saying "I'd like to go to Europe", leads people to say "he seems to be gone." Before reading it, I figured there'd at least be an actual club mentioned as having interest, not just a page of conjecture treated as fact.

The only reason he's not with Eddie Lewis and Benny Feilhaber in Derby County right now is because he didn't want to go there.

earlier poster was right, there is no substance to this article. Eddie's just preparing his fans, Euro scouts to expect him to leave.

That said, I'll be among those cheering EJ on to discrediting all the doubters when he finds his scoring touch in England. He's not perfect but he deserves a lot more support from US fans than he gets.
