Is he playing again this year? I'm just wondering because I'm looking at the attendance numbers and it occurred to me that if he could make it back by the October 7th game at Houston it would make a big impact. There is the game at Chicago after that as well but I think that game will be sold out regardless. Also, was just wondering in general anyway. What's the word?

At this point I would have a problem with them putting him in until he gets used to training with the team, and the team training with him. Yes he's a great player, but untill a team comes together and gets on the same page its a very very large risk IMO.

There is no target date. No one, not even Beckham himself, knows when he will be able to play. But it's safe to say the earliest would be the end of September and the latest would be mid-October (generally speaking).

When the league outlaws 50-50 balls so he does not go flying threw the air and lands on his really nice hairdo[n't]!

The Spice Boy is nursing some scraps' right now. He's better off just resting up & healing so he can give it a go next term. Besides' the Galaxy won one without the Spice Boy & Landon so it just goes to show. He's not making that big of an impact on the Galaxy season. Let the guy rest so he can heal up & count all that money you & everybodys' Grandmother is paying him.

You think maybe if Beckham just SAT DOWN in the middle of the field and let the balls bounce off him, he'd still look like a good player for the Galaxy right now..???

The way we're playing right now, maybe he doesn't want to come back.

Don't bring your family traits' into this. Stick to topic. It's about the Spice Boy with the boo boos' on his knee & ankle & when he's coming back. As if it's actually some important event!

Guess it's safe to say that Chivas USA has bragging rights' this year for being the best MLS team in the Los Angeles area. Maybe the Galaxy will do better next season.

Lucky for Galaxy fans next season, it appears that as long as England keeps winning, Beckham won't be getting call ups.

Maybe you didn't hear me the first time. So here it is again: Shut up, <----> Crawl back to whatever hole you're from.

Didn't you get here by clicking on the "Fan Forum" of the LAG website? If you're pro-Chivas USA, go there and chat with your fellow fans there.

MAY BE SOONER THAN YOU THINK!
I just came back from the HDC. Had the opportunity to view the team train, many players were in the weight room moving, stretching out, just trying to get over bumps, bruises, strains and worse, (so, so many hurt players on our roster) a number of players were training on University Field 1 with Frank running the practice...AND on the main pitch of the Stadium none other than David B. was training! In addition to doing some work with a ball he was doing some hard accelerations, stops and side to side work. He looked strong and I could not see any limping or favoring of either leg. He was wearing trainers, not cleats however. The LA Times earlier this week (sorry, I do not have a link) noted at the end of a one or two paragraph story that Beckham hoped to be back on the field and playing for the team before the end of the season. What I saw today would seem to substantiate some of the rumors that I have heard that Becks is healing up faster than expected!

I did not see Chris today. I do know that he has been working really hard to get back to match fitness. If I could point to any one player that we miss the most it is him; his presence on the pitch completely changes the way that the team plays, we really need him back!

    Vancouver here

Vancouver here. He was supposed to play a game here vs. the Vancouver Whitecaps on October 3 which they've sold 47,000 tickets for and that has been cancelled due to his injury.

The contract the Galaxy signed with Vancouver is Beckham must play for at least 45 minutes.

What date will they likely push this game to? Will they postpone it till after the playoffs run? Will the Galaxy be willing to risk Beckham before the end of their playoff run if there is one?
