I go to the bathroom knowing that ESPN doesn't care about the MLS game and what do I see when I emerge? Scoreboard on TV and DC's already up. Geesh.

 

NEWS FLASH: Apparently a plane reported to be piloted by JFK Jr. has been reported missing. It is feared it may have crashed.

 

WTF! How can that crappy college game go on an extra half hour!

Sorry to go against the flo. But I give huge props to ESPN for delaying the kick off. They also cut in to show the goal. Nice job given the circumstances.

 

No MLS does not get shit on by ESPN.

 

But yet someone else gets pissed on when a soccer game on ESPN (Champ League, MLS playoffs, MLS cup, World Cup...) goes into extra time and runs over something else. As someone else here said...espn ain't gonna break out of a game they're already airing. They don't do it for soccer...they ain't gonna do it for college football.

 

That was one of the several occasions when impt MLS games on TV have been pre-empted by outside forces. You can go get all the details on the Ocho if you really want.

We missed 10 minutes of the game. People need to stop acting stupid and overreacting about it.

 

A small part of me died when the announcer said, "see we told you this would be exciting!" Then they cut back to the last torturous minutes of that college football game

 

Gomez nearly scores from behind the midfield stripe. Just barely over the crossbar, and Guzan didn't have a chance.

Sorry to interrupt the "ESPN Hates Soccer" bitchfest, but what a fantastic effort from Gomez. just a foot or two over the bar from 65 yards out.

Would love to see a replay of the goal. Was flipping around channels when they cut into the football game...
