    Good luck to him!

Strangely, when I saw the subject of your post, I really thought this was going to be about the Revs looking to bring him back to help fill their roster.

I saw this on FSC last night. Why can't we get players like that :D ?

A-League's a nice little league. They're grabbing some really entertaining players.

BTW, speaking of entertaining players :p , I saw Tony Lockhead playing as well.

Yeah, I like what I see from that A-League highlight show on FSC. The A-League to me looks to be alot further along than MLS was at that point in their history.

I thought this post was going to be about John Candy's watch in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

I believe that the A-league/USL-1 has been around longer than MLS. I'm no expert on the league's history and there have been several name and team changes, but teams like the Seattle Sounders have been around since the NASL era.

In this case, the A-Leauge is the Australian League, which includes a team from New Zealand. It is a relatively new league, but many of the clubs have been around for a long time. The club in Melbourne used to be called Melbourne Croatia, but they banned all "ethnic" names a few years ago. That's why there are club names that would fit in quite well in MLS circa 1996 like Perth Glory, with their hideous purple and orange kits

Our A-Leauge has been around since the late 80s in one way or another.

1984 Casio calculator watch, same one (style, not actual artifact) Anthony Michael Hall wears in "The Breakfast Club"

As long as it's not about Christopher Walken's watch in Pulp Fiction.

Yellow Fever, Wellington's supporters club, has over 2,000 members now. You know what that means, 2,000 people cheering on Tony Locchead...it's a dream come true:D
