Not Announced yet, but the safe money is on Jersey Sky Blue to be the entry into the WSII... Trying to get concrete confirmation on this.. but I hear that this is just waiting on the next wave of announcements. Was speculated here http://fanzone.skybluesoccer.com/ I got somewhat of a confirmation that this is done but not from anyone in the Organization. still, my source is 85% acurate in any past info sent my way
I don't think they would be the sixth and final team. The sixth group is specifically looking at western sites. The new league ideally wants eight teams though and it's hardly out of the question NJ could be one of the other two. Still, when I see 'rumor' I usually translate it to mean 'wishful thinking' so we'll see. Would the idea be to play in Bedminster, Harrison, or a combo of the two?
They should play at Rutgers soccer stadium. There's not a lot of good options in New Jersey. Harrison would be too big and might not even be ready for next year anyway.
They would be the 7th Team I am not speculating... It is good solid info. If I thought it was a rumour, I would have marked it Rumour
I should have made this clear - the 'rumor' and 'sixth and final team' references were from the Sky Blue fan site, not you CF.
Lauren and Chargefan's info is solid from what I am also told, although do not know if for '08 season depends on when Harrison is finished.

Yeah, we got a team. A little suspicious about the NJ/NY thing but as along as NJ is in the team's name(and first) I'll have no problem. And Bedminister is not bad to get too either. A good weekend can be spent going to the game and walking around Peapack and Gladstone first. Or taking in some of the excellent restaurants in nearby Somerville. I think it was Somerville. Had a nice main street with quite a variety of restaurants. Yeah or going to nearby Chester. More of the "real" New Jersey that not enough people know about. But enough of that. I can't wait to see this team in action!
