Tonight we should find out who is the best College Soccer team in Chicago.
    NWU(9-4, 1-3) @ #17 UIC (9-1-2, 3-0) @7:00pm

NWU beat Loyola (9-4-0, 4-0-0) 2-0 earlier this year.

Considering the weather conditions, a very well played game on both sides, could of gone either way, the difference was the Belgrade connection for UIC, the goalkeeper and the goal scorer.

    Milwaukee or Iraq
Now maybe they'll actually move up more than one position in the polls after another (hopefully) 3-0-0 week... unlike last week. I like how they're 10, 11, and 12 in the other three polls, but way back at 17th (behind Notre Dame & IU) in the poll that supposedly "doesn't take regional balance in the Top 25 into consideration".
Here's hoping for more IU and ND losses!

I think you may have to include NIU in that scenario, they play Northwestern next week.

No they haven't, but half the players on UIC played with half the players on NIU in the Metro League and at the Sockers. I think it would be a good game, they both have great defenses, great keepers and both have played a lot of tight games this year.

That would be soccerindekalb or maybe we could include an even closer school to Chicago soccerinvalpo

NIU is a good team... you just have be in Dekalb

I thought NWU was stretching it to Evanston

Right now it looks like UIC is the best in Chicago

At this point the national polls mean little in comparison to the RPI rankings, UIC must keep winning in order to assure themselves of the brass ring that is the NCAA tournament.
Hoping for ND and IU to lose will not necessarily allow UIC to move up at all in the RPI.
