Nice to see Maniero scores ..

I hope that he do will with Ascoli to get them back to serie a , and he do batter than what Paolucci done in serie a .

yeah , Paolucci got more talent for scoring than Maniero , but i dont know what was wrong with him last season .

I said i would never come back after the change in forum layout, but i've come back, although found a new forum, which has meant less focus on bigsoccer, but cause you posted here i'll write back.

Yes absolutely fantastic. The whole city has been excited in the new change of Ascoli Calcio. Thursday the piazza was packed to welcome the squad - very much a young squad, and very underatted same with Iaconi. Three months ago i would tell you your dreaming if you were to say there would be such hype for Ascoli after a relegation season. But there was. The excitement has carried onto the squad - very tight knit group, they've even come up with a celebration dance after winning games. The team was not even considered by all the top journalists in Italy, but in Ascoli, the excitement was evident and quality only seen through the eyes of the Ascolani. It sat well with us cause we were the hunters, although now we are the hunted. Which means we need to be consistant. We look extremely fit, but same with Iaconi's Frosinone at the start of last season, which saw them fade later on. Also Ascoli is a bit weak in defence. Its a long and tough season, so we should not base forecasts on one result, but defintely a fantastic start against a team picked to be up there.

Let's just hope Ascoli carries on their fine form. You think they have a chance of rejoining Serie A next year?

And as for Big Soccer, why not just switch to the Soccer 365 skin? It looks exactly like the old one, and I like it. I don't have any problems at all with it.

lets just say most Ascolani are pessemists (sp). We tend to highlight the negatives. Negatives outweight Positives IMO (i must be very Ascolano).
Like i said good start, but its a long season, and Ascoli do have a young inexperienced defence on the flip side, they are good for their age. Hopefully the form continues all season long.
I like the young Ascoli better than last years old Ascoli, its sets up for a better future.
Also Ascoli have said its a 2 year plan, so expectations wont be so great this season, but after last night they will be put up on the pedestal now.

I've got into this new site now, more of a tight knit community (so far just aussie italian football fans), but i'll pop up every now and then - i don't want people seeing me, thinking i was a bandwagon rider, :D lol. Plus i like the people on here, especially the old boys, and girl/s (SueB comes to mind).
