Why would Yallop not plan ahead, you know all of half time, to move someone into Harmse's position? Why sub in two forwards KNOWING you've got a gimpy Becks (not even at the end of the game... around minute 60+) that can't control the midfield to save his life.

And it's not like the jet lag/friendly made him poor in the midfield, it was obvious against DC and NY-- he needed someone to do the dirty work.

The fact that Yallop failed to realize this is proof enough that he ought to be fired and banned from coaching at any level. Ever.

Playing Beckham and Donovan was asinine. Another great call by LallupCo. This would have been the same without ruining Beckhams ankle even more. The management of the whole Beckham scenario has been botched in epic proportions by Lalas, MLS and anyone else involved in what's happened. At this rate Beckham will never heal, but hey! if he is asked to go and there is anyway he can he will be on the field even if he really shouldn't be hopefully these 3 games playing 90 minutes and the flights across the Atlantic don't mean another 2 weeks out
