Hi guys, sorry for intruding onto your forum, I just wanna ask you guys a quick question on Anderson. If you could answer it, I'd be very grateful. Anyways, I've recently found out that Anderson had broke his leg last season while playing for you guys, and returned towards the end of the season just gone. What I wanna know is, that when he returned, did he play to the same level pre-injury, or was he not the same player? Im asking this because, I've seen bits of him in the Copa America, and in Manchester United's pre-season matches. In these matches, he has played very well, but he looks nothing like the player I thought he'd be. For example, he has been looking to pass more often than dribble, even when there is clear space in front of him. If anything, he's looked more like the "Next Paul Scholes", rather the "Next Gaucho".
So basically, all that I've just written, is a long-winded way of asking if his injury has reduced his talents as a football player?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and thanks if you can answer my question :)

He was always very unselfish, looking to make the killer pass. I never really understood why he was labled the next Ronaldinho. Yes he grew up in Porto Algre and played for Gremio, but besides that they do not play very similar. He isn't as trick happy as Ronaldinho and uses more of his speed and grit to get by people then Ronaldinho.

I never really saw a drop in potential when he did come back from injury. The only thing seemed that he was mentally fragile after the injury, not attempting to go after the 50/50 balls as much.

I am a Benfica fan foremost so I did not get to see as much Porto games as the other. Hope I helped though...

When he came back he helped us win some big games. I think he's still in an adjustment period, he didn't light the league on fire once he got to Portugal, he played in the b team got called up the to A team and his performances got exponentially better. He usually plays the pass first and that's a good thing considering he plays in the middle. His biggest weapon is his ability to make space for the strikers with his passing.

His performances were the same after he came back from injury.

Andershow won't dissapoint, enough said, you've probably taken well to Nani for his minor goals he's scored in pre-season, well, take a player who's abilities, talent and speed are all twice as better and you have Anderson. He came back injured and clearly didn't see much playing time, but used it well when he did, before the ogurs broke his leg in a match vs Benfica which came a year after they did the same to another young talent he was absolutely ripping the league, you should have seen him in the 1st Champions League game! Superb!
