our coach said he will be resting for couple of days... and by the end of the weekend he should start training with the team again :) (so i guess its not THAT serious)

but there is a chance of him missing the first game vs. Levadia/Pobeda (CL Q)

100% sure he wont play in the Bergamo tourny on Thursday (Red Star, Porto & Atalanta)

Don't want to be like I told you so but, I told you so.

Salas is done. His injury has cursed him and our NT. They should pull hm out before he gets severely hurt.

I can't believe he is playing so soon. He should have rested a while more before playing. He would have fully recovered. Now I feel his talent has been waisted.

Yes you told us so.

But it's very hard to find good player who wants to come to live and play football in Serbia. We have a poor reputation, weak league (3 or 4 serious clubs) and definitely my country isn't attractive for football players...

When foreign players comes to Serbia they don't know what to expect and it's a huge question will they adopt well. Some of them are pleasantly surprised with our country, but many of them were expecting much more.

Hopefully he'll take it easy. I am sure he's eager to impress, but he needs to be fit first in order to do that!!

El Mago signed for Red Star 3 weeks ago, but he suffered a leg injury in friendly match so he wasn't in training process until now! I'm Red Star fan and I didn't get a chance to see him yet, but he's going to be in the team for next game, so I'm hopping to see real Magician on pitch!

Red Star also signed Mauricio Mao Molina (Columbia) and Hernan Barcos (Argentina)! If anybody knows something about these players, please tell me!

Salas has always known to be weak player and is always getting hurt,he is ok but not that serious to impress me.
Mao Molina is a playmaker,he is very agile with the ball, has a wonderful long range shot.He has a decent left foot.
Barcos was Olmedo's(Ecuador Club) best baller the last couple of year, being that clubs top scorer. He is a typical man of area, being at the right place at the right time.He knows Salas pretty well,so I believe they should not have a problem when playing together up front.Having El Cuco Castillo in the club will also help the team very much.

    How will this affect???
Red Star sacks coach ahead of CL qualifier
BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) - Red Star Belgrade has sacked coach Bosko Djurovski ahead of its Champions League qualifiers against Rangers.

Djurovski said he was fired because of his team's poor performance against Estonian side Levadia Tallinn when it lost 2-1 in Wednesday's Champions League qualifier. Red Star still advanced to the third qualifying round thanks to a 1-0 win at home in the first leg.
Djurovski, who took over last season, said he would be replaced by Milorad Kosanovic who coached Red Star 10 years ago.

"Fresh blood is needed ahead of the crucial match against Rangers," said Djurovski, who will stay in the club.

Red Star, the European Cup champion in 1991, has never qualified for the Champions League since the format was introduced in 1992.
