Wow, you really have been on a spending spree! Nice boots though, but do you not find it odd switching from one brand to another touch wise etc? I just remember when i switched from my Vapors to my V1s it took me quite a bit to get used to the different touch. appleCORR
Those bright cactus ones look really nice in a lifelike pic, rather than the showroom-type pics from online retailers. Didn't Drogba wear those in the game against Suwon?
I noticed the same thing when I went from Supremacies to Legends. I was switching in between the two for a while, but I noticed when I'd wear either one for a longer period of time my touch, power, etc. would be a lot better. It's a case of getting used to the different proportions and materials of the boots. Different boots = different sweet spots, heavier/lighter touch.

Welcome to BS! Very nice vapors. I think thats one of the nicer colourways of the MVIIIs. Although we heard that the textured effect was just for show on those boots which is ashame. appleCORR

Yea, the texture is just for show, I was expecting something better. Although, I'm not that dissapointed, I didn't think it was that big of a deal

^^^ That happened to me last year, but it was with a pair of absolutes. If you didn't order them online, try taking it back to wherever you bought it?
That just shows how rubbish the sole plate on the MVIIIs is compared to the sold soles of the previous models. You have a great chance of getting an exchange or refund with them. Even if you got them online. That certainly should not happen to boots. How do you think it happened? Were you playing on grass or astro? appleCORR
That is looking like it's going to happen to my MVIII's in the same colorway. I have the SG model. I've said it once and I'll say it again, the MVIII soleplate is uber crap compared with its predecessors.
I have a pair of Vapor 3's white/ginger, a pair of silver/black Legends I got those for $60 at the Nike factory outlet, and blue/white F50.7 Tunits. I would post pictures but I don't know how. This is my first post on this board.

it pretty much just happened to my legendary MVIII`s! which sucks. i won them in a magazine competition, so i guess i dont have any guarantee. just to notice, that i played them in astro turf ground. i thought it was the reason why they got broken, but others have the same problem
