Phew, survived a BigSoccer format change with only a half an hour or so of code updates to make. This week was a bit of a beatdown for most of us, but as always some found a way to prosper, especially those who missed the NYR CVS game, such as..... Saeyddthe, who takes home the Weekly Cup with a big bet on CHI and a solid KCW bet. In 2nd is the week's big story AMERICANS SC who went nuts in this challenging week and bet in the 160's on every game. This paid off heartily with KCW and NER and CHI to the tune of Play of the Week. He takes over the lead in Rate of Return and keeps some pressure on Qdog who nevertheless had an impressive, above-sea level week in difficult times. 3rd goes to thursday snoozer Shaydee who had confidence in NER and eased up on the other games. 4th goes to the third snoozer Crewbasher who landed solid punches with KCW and NER. Finally tab5g continues his strong season with another top 5 finish. Well, since there are only 20 players left and we're all in the 1-20 spots, there's going to be little Inverse Karma coming in the next few months (I know... try to hold back your tears), since the most common way of scoring IK - that is, leapfrogging the non-participants - is pretty much gone. But, for one last time, our Inverse Karma Award winner pulled off that exact feat on the way to his second victory this season. DamonEsquire, president of Babelfishia, finally joins the in-crowd this week with a score of 32.75. Congrats. Runner-up: firefan2001 1.44 (like I said, not much IK to go around) And btw, it feels good to be back in the Top 10. Forgot what it was like. w00t.
