Yeah, AZ Alkmaar, thank you. Here's a little blurb about it from calciomercato.it. Notice the transfer fee of over 7 million euros! Also I heard on Sky Italia that Blasi might be headed to Wolfsburg (Germany) instead of ManCity.

I have no idea how I'm going to keep track of all the Italians abroad. This is what happens when you have players that only want to play for the big 3 or bought by the big three and sit on the bench.

How long before the majority of the Azzurri squad plays abroad? It could be sooner than you think.

  6. Saturday 11th of august Az plays against Inter in a friendly. The RTVNH broadcasts the entire match and starts the programm at 18:00 CET.
Maybe there will be something online too available, see http://www.rtvnh.nl/sport/ to find out if tere are highlights or maybe even the match live. I expect Pelle to play at least half a match.

Donadoni is actually watching the Bayern game on tv because he's going to Juventus-Roma today.

but Bianchi is doing really well.

Bianchi looked very good during that game, very aware. He took a bit of time to settle in, he kept coming too deep for the ball at the beginning, but once the game started flowing he did very well, linked up with Elano very well, and his tap in wasn't an easy one, the ball was curling away from goal. Good day for Italian strikers :)

Good debut for those two. I saw Grosso played well defensively for his first game as well.

yeah, i only watched the first 30 minutes of the lyon game, but he seemed to be playing alright, at least he seems to be the first choice, so he can play into form hopefully.

its pretty much the truth that moggi was running the national team and dictating who can play for italy, look at miccoli for example, so he would ship you out to a foreign country.

don't deny it moggi was running things.

luca toni, doing what he does best, scoring another goal, and drew the penalty for bayern's first goal. good game so far, 2 goals in 2 games, and this last game is versus bremen, so a really good squad

edit: 3-0 bayern, toni involved in all three goals, first goal, he drew the penalty. second goal, he scored it, and the third he assisted altintop.
he has had a good game, and he and ribery and altintop seem to all be developing a good rapport. ribery has been fantastic this game also (though he is not italian, he is someone the azzurri will have to worry about soon :()

luca toni scores again, and hit the post, then gets injured and is coming off at the 30', hope it ain't too serious. he is 3 for 3 in the bundesliga. could have scored more if he had played the full game.
