Actually, I hate Chelsea, it's just my feeble attempt at trying to understand where Chelsea fans come from...

Hsvechenko has always had that depressed look ever since i have known him. He was just born like that. The poor time he has had at chelsea may not just be a fraction of what makes him have such a face.

I agree with most fellas here, Drogba should do something to lift up his friend.

    anyone remember the season 2002/2003...
    http://www.fussballdaten.de/spieler/shevchenkoandrei/
and what happens in the season 2003/2004..
    http://www.fussballdaten.de/italien/2004/torjaeger/
    top goalscorer with 24 goals!:D

hope cfc will not make the same failure,
like when we sell mateja kezman:mad: , cause one unlucky season...

ok sheva scores only 4goals in the league but 14 altogether..
i meen sheva was the partner of drogba at the attack & didier was the top-goalscorer.

i really don´t know why is sheva so nervous, maybe the £57 & the expectations?

I think that is a good point. Going into the year it looked like the arrival of Sheva might mean Drogba would be spending much more time on the bench. To his credit, Drogba rose to the challenge, but I also feel that one of his ways of doing so was to have some sort of unuseful competition with Sheva, where he seemed glad to see Sheva fail.

Drogba has also took a number of chances from Sheva, especially near the start of the season when Sheva was slumping searching for a goal, when Drogba should have instead been trying to spurn his striking partner on for the good of the team.

I don't want to put Sheva's poor form last year on Drogba as that would be unfair, but I do feel Drogba's attitude last year with Sheva negatively affected his form.

eh, I think you are being a little strong here. As for the second part- we have brought much worse and their have been much worse in the Premiership.

Chris Sutton ends that argument. Sheva cost $60m anyway, not $30m.

$31 million pounds (not dollars) but I think it's not really important because most clubs wouldn't pay $10 million (pounds) or $20 million (dollars - If you prefer) for him right now. Milan are only reportedly interested in parting with $15 milion (pounds) or $60 million (dollars) for him and they are the only team that could possibly revive him.

Maybe, but has someone so high fallen so far. He really looks unmotivated and unable. I can think of only 1 possession, during the Galaxy game, in which he received the ball, held it and played it successfully without losing it.

I just feel we need an impact stricking partner for Drogba and a proven right back to win the CL. So much money has been invested in this team to have 2 holes.

It would have been nice to get Adriano in return for Crespo. I'm not sure why Chelsea isn't forcing Inter's hand on giving us Adriano or Imbrahimovic for Crespo.

If you think that Sheva is unmotivated then I really dont know what you see in Adriano and Imrahimovic. Both are very skillful players, but Adriano is one of the laziest players about and Imbrahimovic is good when is not throwing his toys out of the pram. Although Sheva struggled last season at least he tried to put in effort, I am sure the same could not be said for the aforementioned two players.

Give Sheva till XMas, if he is still shyte then away he goes. BTW- I am working on a list of our worst singings and Sheva is not even in the top 5. He may be after another poor season, but not now.

Classic! My thoughts on the 2 inter players is that we are getting nothing for Crespo. Nothing! 2 seasons and not even a sniff at a quality reserve player in return from those greedy bastards!

We really have no quality strike partner for Drogba. Sheva looked good against Liverpool to open and then smashed one against the Spurs but everything else was middle of th road at best.

At least Kezman, however shite, TRIED his hardest. Watching Sheva is like watching my grandmother cut her toenails. She's doing it, but she doesn't really want to do it.

sorry missed your point on the Crespo/Inter example, which now makes a lot more sense. I completely agree with you on Crespo and you can add Veron, Boula and a few others to that list as well. The clubs who we loan them to should at least give us a youngster for the trouble which we incurred.

no offense, but that's about the stupidest and the most incorrect thing someone could say about Sheva.

You might be the only Chelsea supporter that thinks Sheva doesn't try his hardest. And if you are basing your opinion on the Galaxy game, then you need to re-examine your opinion.

Well he may not be totally off track . There are some games where sheva worked his a** off but just couldnt get the ball in. But there were many others where he just looked like a drunken zombie.

That said, i still love the guy .

you know, i can't ever recollect a meaningful game that Sheva has played in that he has looked like he wsa tanking. Lethargic and slow, yes, but not trying his @ss off, no. I could be wrong and I'm definitely biased, but that's my view on his work effort.

A drunken zombie.....that would be a helluva sight.

Zombie eat brains, but zombie cannot swallow this injustice of writing off Sheva after one season.

Might be, but I'm not. Check the forums and all over the world.

What are you talking about? I'm talking about ALL of Sheva's matches. I don't know if you base your opinions on very few matches, maybe you do, because in most he was crap.

as much fun as it might seem to check the forums all over the world, I think I'll just stick to this one. And so far, at least on here, you are the only one accusing him of not trying hard.

so, in ALL of Sheva's matches he doesn't try hard?  Surely you are joking.

And being crap is not the same as not trying, which is what you have been saying.
