Holy Crap...what a turn around! For most of the first half we looked like shite. I was preparing to go down in flames. Pero HASTA LA VICTORIA!!

Great job Galaxy, this team finally has some heart.

sorry to poop on your party and all but i thought the Gals got dominated for a large portion of the game. they were effective when they needed to be though and props to them for that.

    congrats on the win

Last time I checked, corner kicks don't count on the scoreboard.

This Pachuca team could have easily won this game. They had more chances than LA; reminded me of USA MNT finishing (or lack thereof). Nevertheless, I expected this would be the easiest of Pachuca's matchups. Kudos to LA for making their own share of scoring chances, executing on a couple and making the MLS look like a decent league.

Yeah Morelia suck more balls than Lance Bass in San Francisco

Why are they even in the competition

    Monterrey(best fans in Mexico), Tigres(aceness), Cruz Azul(Chelito), Pumas(Sambueza)

Chivas got the most unfair result against Dallas tonight, they stole it.

I'm not saying this as a Mexican fan. That is why I refered to their "Greekish" style of game. Is a shame to see a team win like this. It doesn't matter if it is from the Mexican, Spanish, Brazilian or Rumanian league.

I didn't see the first half, but Pachuca certainly looked good in the second half. That said, it seemed that when LA chose to attack they did so very well [Pavon missed two clear chances in the time I saw him]. But for some reason they tried the "bunker and counterattack" strategy. It was not to their benefit. That said, LA won fair and square. I did not see any ref decisions that robbed anyone of anything [actually, the ref was pretty good], and 2-1 always wins ;)

Damn, the Sudamericana winner ran the game for longer than we did, even though we won. I hope we can step it up for MLS! :)

Not so sucky half from Galaxy, congrats, but even though they got the win, they still were outclassed by those mexicans, if they they can do that more than once I will be impressed. I have a feeling Pachuca will bounce back and still win this thing, from what I saw they are at another level and with a horrible keeper, but good finishing by the galaxy.

Not just that.. You have to defend cornerkicks... That Galaxy out defended Pachuca on cornerkicks by several! ;)

I don't think Donovan will play in the next WC

Won't he be like 80 years old by then?

They owned who? I am not a Pachuca fan. I just love soccer and don't like to see a team winning like this. Just as I didn't like Chivas getting a tie when they deserved to lose that game.

Good win for LA but it could of easily been Pachuca's by a couple. You could tell the quality in soccer was better but you gotta handed to LA for scoring in the few chances they had.

Also, Pachuca forwards were owning the LA defenders on every one on one.

Fun game to watch, sort of.

It's true BUT it's not like there was any dirty play. The chances we had were slim but we finished them.
