this morning while looking at the Spanish channels to see if any of them were covering the arrests of the Chilean sub 20 players in Canada I came across ESPND! OMG! OMG! OMFG!

FINALLY! Time Warner stick their collective heads out of their asses!
FINALLY! I can justify paying $70 a month to this crappy cable company!

    Congratulations Time Warner!

Congrats! I pay another 2 bucks a month or something for the Spanish package just so I could get Fox Sports en Espanol and ESPND. Then out of nowhere they picked up GolTV on the package and I was in heaven.

Now I find myslef grumbling about the occasional Barca match that WorldSport steals. And it will probably only get worse this coming season with Beckham gone from RM and Henry on Barca. AND I think there's a GolTV HD feed somewhere... and, etc. :)

ETA: OMG that Super Pollo looks fabulous... Arlington, huh?

You can call your local time warner office - the number should be on your bill.

Also, get as many friends, coworkers, and family to also call and request GolTV.

Hello - A newbie to this board. I just saw ESPND yesterday myself on DirectTV. This is awesome. Between GolTV and ESPND I expect to be able to catch a lot of good games.

Hate to ask this if its already been discussed. Is there a sticky or thread somewhere which talks about which Barca games are on which channels in the US?

    Thanks.

I moved to a Co-op building about a year and a half ago. No satellite dishes allowed on the roof or on the side of the building. And to top it off I am in Time Warner turf. I wanted to sign up with Optimum which carries BOTH ESPND and GolTV, but they wont service by neighborhood. So I got stuck with TW.

Not to rub salt, but Optimum also has WorldSport HD, which has rights to a La Liga game or 2 in HD every week.

Welcome to the boards! Like Asta said, ESPND usually only shows Champions league games, but they probably will show a lot of the Barça ones. Gol TV shows most of Barça's games, with a few of them stolen and shown exclusively on World Sport HD. You'll know which ones because there's usually lots of complaining leading up to those games. :)

On a related note, I just noticed that they now have Setanta on Dish Network. Not that I'll have a ton of time to watch anything, but it's good to have options.

That's pretty cool, especially since they show different sports. I kinda miss coming home from the bar and finding Rugby on Fox Sports World. Now that it's Fox Soccer Channel, they don't show it anymore. Same with Aussie Football. I didn't follow the teams per se, but I would certainly watch it now and again.

BTW, Aussie Football is waaaaay more entertaining than Arena Football.

If you need you can always go to http://www.tvtuga.com , this site has soccer and TV from all over the world for free on your computer. I caught the final game of Barça on this site last year and the quality was pretty good. To watch most stuff on there you have to download a P2P player called sopcast which is easy to download and free. So good luck on catching Barça games this year.
