People that say Gerrard is overrated aren't looking at the right things. He's not the type of player that controls the game and commands how the ball rolls like most great midfielders. He breaks the other teams momentum with goals and gives his own team the momentum swing. Lampard and Gerrard are very similar players, I don't see how you could say one is better than the other overall. Neither of them is particularly creative though, and that's why England struggles.

English press does bash italy perpetually. Which is why Totti doesn't get his due respect. I watched the ESPN broadcast of the CL final and Man U-Milan Semi. They made love to Liverpool and Man U the whole time. They just sat there saying any minute now, Liverpool or Man U will come back and make things right.

surely you saw how silly gerrard looked last night didn't you? I said it before and i'll say it again, Gerrard has 1 or 2 good games in a whole season and all of a sudden he's in the top10 of the world, exactly what has done all of last season
other than score 8goals and 5assists(pffffft).

Overrated = Ibra.... why is the media getting so excited about the bitch, even suggesting he might win Ballon d'Or? This season Trezeguet has been doing the exact same job better, scoring goals, but Trezeguet doesn't need penalties.

wow jumpin, your a juvenino most likely, im an iterista, and from a neutral stand point, which is hard to do since i love inter, but, how can you say someone with 7 goals 2 assists, and complete performances is overated. He's had a great start and with cosistency can win the ballon d'or. By the way, if you watch the games, ibra has played a complete game every game. Consistenltlly out workin every opposistion. To compare him to a mediocre trezeguet also, you must be crazy. Trezeguet scores, nothing else, not to mention the only hard defense he played against this year was roma's which played quite shtty against juve.

Forza ibra, keep up the good work. Overated? you must be crazy, what cant' he do.

Ibra was disappointing at Juve. He is doing very well at Inter, showed lots of brilliance at Ajax but in his first season at Juve, his finishing in the CL was crap and in all competitions in his second season, he was bad to watch. As a Juve fan, he made you sick.

Ibra and Trez are domination the scoring. Some Juve fans may think that Juve would be great with then two there but under Capello, it didn't look like that Ibra could peak.

how is adriano overated, since loosing his form no one has talked about him or overated him. The fact that if he found his old form, or while he was in his old form, he was one of the best players. But how is he overated right now neapolitan.

    Anelka, yea he's def. underated.

I’m not sure what the view of Adriano is like in Italy, but I can tell you in England people still rate him very, very highly. I don’t know if you know, but recently we were told in England that Inter wanted to loan Adriano to Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger said no way. Since then he has been under attack by reporters and some pundits about how crazy he is not to take him. That’s why I’ve put Adriano. Arsenals current strikers are in better form than Adriano, in fact they are on fire and for people to criticize Wenger for not taking him on loan is a joke in my opinion.

Although I do realise he is getting some of his old form back, but he’s certainly not on par with Ibrahimovic in terms of form.

His current (slightly increasing form) matches how i see him viewed. In form he can be better then anyone on arsenal, hell even better then most strikers, cuz when he is in form everyone knows what he can do. SO maybe he is overated in england, but in most of europe and the americas, they just see him as an average joe striker.

I feel Cassetti for Roma is very underrated.

Overrated...i say Amelia. Has talent...but when you lose 4-0, doesn't reflect to your ability as a keeper. Regardless of how poor your defense is.

Doni(overated), some say one of best keepers, starts on brazil sometimes, Although julio cesar should (underated), how can you let 7 goals against a team in one game, along with 2 goals that were clearly his fault against inter, and the first goal came off his huge rebound, causing giiuly to play goalie lol.

If Ibra wasn't taking the penalties he would be around the same number of goals as many others though.. all of the goals Trez has scored this season has been from open play (more than any other player in Serie A) and still that cockroach who coaches the French national team won't even play him, while the media are all excited saying Ibra should be European Player of the Year!

Ibra has only scored two penalties in the Serie A though otherwise you do have a point.

I agree about Trez needing to get playing time with France. He is better in bigger games than Henry, although Trez did hit the crossbar in last year's World Cup Final.

Some do say he's one of the best goalies in serie A, thats what i meant. And it's true, i always hear people talk about his strong points, but never his bad. And most of the roma fans try telling me he's better then julio cesar and dida, i wouldnt pick him over either.

Frances best striker right now, i think is kanoute, he just needs to proove him self. He's been stakin assists and goals for sevilla, and almost always has a decent game.
