I think I'm going to hit up the zoo...

even the animals will be more exciting than this pathetic US squad (minus clark, feilhaber, and olsen)

3-1 loss is completely an underserved final score, in my opinion. We had our chances, we were on level terms with Paraguy. I'm most upset with the lack of confidence we continually show on these international stages.

Cause Keller missed sitters in the box.

Conrad hung him out to dry on both goals from the run of play. And the free kick was a helluva shot that I don't think Oliver Kahn (in his prime) would've stopped.

Games like this makes me why I even bother being a fan of U.S. soccer. Seriously, I think I need a break. A long break.

Lousy foul right outside the box. Paraguay strikes it and hits right side upper 90.

I did, too--for about 2 minutes. Then I realized that hustle doesn't put balls in the net.

Is this a team that we assembled to get maximum results?

    No.

Is it a team with a lot of international experience?

    No.

A bunch of youngsters went out there, played pretty well, made some nice plays, but got killed for their mistakes. Nor did they capitalize on their opponents. Hallmark of an inexperienced team losing.

The result is a big negative, no way around that, but the team showed some ability, even if they couldn't put it together to get a result. No reason to jump off any ledges.

My God what a terrible waste. Now we know why Bruce never wanted to go...he didn't want all these ass-kickings on his resume. I am frankly tired of watching this team. They struggle through CONCACAF in the GOld Cup with the "first" team and get pasted by foolish goals against better competition. I am not even sure what the point of the Confeds Cup is, when Bruce went there he brought an uninspiring team as well back in 03. I've had it. I don't plan on watching the third game at all. I'll go to a movie. Screw it.

Why is Keller playing?! Guzan could be getting international experience and we are wasting it on KK. He was terrible today, too old too slow. No wonder why Europe doesnt want him. No way in hell he is around in 2010 so why is he playing? He should have stepped aside for the good of the program a la Reyna and McBride

Unfortunately, he's already been capped by Germany, so he can't play forward for us

"Stay insular" says Sunil while he hires an American coach.

To be fair, Bradley's record so far is good, but this Copa America is UNBEARABLE TO WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Bradley HAS to take some blame for these crappy performances for we are getting SPANKED out there....

The finishing was a disgrace, but almost everything else was quite good.

Well, the losses that became inevitable when the roster was named weren't as bad as they could have been, and everybody got lots of experience. Now the players have one more chance for another good old U.S. soccer moral victory, such as having more saves, maybe more chances, or maybe even more possession than the other team despite losing by multiple goals.

We're obviously good enough to qualify for the WC. Not to do anything but be happy to be there. Expect the United States to be overhyped again before a 3 and out in South Africa...

    Damn it all to hell...

    Nice.

Thank God that pitiful display of .... is over.

I refuse to call it soccer.

    That was not soccer.

    That was not heart.

    That was not intelligence.

That was **********, scared, stupid, selfish soccer.

No more Keller. Can't believe I am saying this, but he is out dated and maybe that's why he is outta contract. MLS here comes KK.

Bornstein is getting better and better, but now I want to see Pearce.
Moor was a big surprise, good one. Too bad about the header.
Conrad is average, and no more than a 3rd stringer, but he is still valuable.
Demerit is very good and has unseated Conrad.

Sascha has a long way to go and needs more time.
Olsen played great, pure and simple.
Benny made some good passes and belongs with Clark in the middle as
    starters....no more Bradley.

EJ is great. Did everything but score.
I can not watch Turtleman anymore.

Keller was terrible, defense was decent other than a couple of total brain farts that have no business happening at this level, and the finishing was so hideous it's incredible to me we don't have other options. If we just have average finishing, this is a laugher of a US win.
