    Good 1st half

Need to stop these bonehead defensive messups

EJ and Benny are looking great so far. Keep it up boys

I know Para is a counterattacking team but I would have liked to see them load the box a little more for a last second attack. There wasn't really time for a real counter, especially if they took their time to set it up.

    DeMerits been shaky

EJ is not working hard at all. Sub him off

Benny and Clark are going to have to start testing the goalie more with long shots

Same players. Different mentality. Better soccer.

I'd like to see Bradley throw on a true wide player to stretch out their back line.

That's not a soft goal, the guy made a nice run and got the ball 1v1 and any good striker will beat the keeper from basically dead center.

    No fault of KK there

I would die if we could meet up with Argentina again and play them with a more cohesive team. I think we could do much better than that 4-1 crap game...

By the way folks, Paraguay is no pushover team. They can beat Argentina and Brazil on a good day.

    Sacha
    Bornstein

Tremendous quality for a free stream. Better than what MLS charges for.

I couldn't agree more. Conrad is in top form despite sitting out with a busted jaw a while back.

I'm really surprised how well Drew Moor is playing. Another right back for depth can never hurt. Now for the left...........

Clark and Feilhaber playing really well, but Sasha has been pretty poor. Bring him off for Mapp at the half.

    Half-time thoughts:

    • Bornstein is once again our MOM through 45 minutes. Hopefully he can sustain his game for the full 90 this time.
    • For all the shit he's gotten, Twellman played a fine ball to Clark for the goal.
    • DeMerit has had a rough game. Para is really testing our speed and ball control in the back.
    • Moor has been solid if totally unspectacular. Almost all of Para's crosses have come from his side.
    • Johnson and Twellman hold the ball well but they're just not getting it done up top.
    • Feilhaber and Clark having a much easier time controlling possession against Para then than they did against Argentina.

to be honest, his workrate has been good (by GAM standards at least) especially on the wings.

Oh my, a right back that can actually cross the ball? Drew Moor? I've only heard of him one other time before and when I saw him in the lineup I was mortified. Against a Paraguay that scored 5 against Colombia?

Wrong. A tie would guarantee us 3rd in the group if we beat Columbia, giving us a fighting chance to go through. Still would prefer a win though. :D

Bornsteins shot was as good as its going to get from that angle and the players in the way. Good build up to get the shot off tho

Great first half. Now let's see what Bradley has up his sleeve for the second. If he makes the right moves this game is ours.
