Sigi is watching his son Tony Meola play. They will be fighting for that box of Krispy Kremes after the game.
Man, you got stop posting images of Sigi. It's taking forever to download these images. I swear I can feel my phone line starting to heat up.
Yeah, if you post any more pictures of Sigi Schitz, please put in an additional plug for the Heart Association.
That's a part of the training process ... the players see how bad is it to be fat, and then start training with doubled energy
Re: Re: The Casbah Wow, have you ever been in an east coast stadium? Cause that sounds more like a Mexie V Gringo match at the Rose Bowl. Sorry, I'm not trolling, just chimin in...we don't do that crap on the east coast...and if we do, oh well.
Fair assessment from your point of view. I'll honestly say that I haven't been to DC. I did go to the old Foxboro Stadium but was far away from the Fort so can't say much since I was in the side stands instead. I have been to Crew Stadium and that some of the core fans in the Northend would tend to be more fervent--there have been a few instances with the beer bottles and what have you. When I was there for the 2 WCQ games there was the combination of fans from DC/NY/NE and points in between so that likelihood was going to be there. At least for one game there were a few things being hurled on the pitch, and for the Mexico game there were cops eyeing the crowd for flying projectiles. Since that post was made late summer, the climate has changed somewhat here, and with the Riot Squad from LA and the Titan Boys (SJ Ultras) reportedly being started, I can sense that the stadium athmosphere will get fervent. A lot has been mentioned on the other thread regarding the need to have such an athmosphere: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31837 If it gets to be that way, that's fine... Just a take, cheers!
I think it's just that us here on the east coast take our sport alot more seriously, and almost everything else alot more seriously, then do people from out west. That could be some bad assumption on my part, but that's how it seems. Yea, stuff goes down inside our stadiums, but its nothing bad at all, at least by our standards.
