Peru deserve to win, That comical penalty call for Ecuador, what a dive with not one peruvian player touching him, I was cheering for Ecuador but I don't like winning with the help of the referee, I live that to the English. Ecuador played bad and were a little to confident. I'm happy Peru put them back in their places. They needed a kick in the ass like every spoil brat needs ones in a while, perhaps they will wake up now that every position in the national team can be opened

Re: Ecuador VS Peru this actually is very true...we acted as if we were the hot s*it and we blew a good opportunity to win a very winnable game...nonetheless, i really wish we can become consistent and start winning more games than we lose, even if they don't matter. I seriously hope they don't think themselves to be favorites in the Copa America because then we'll mess up, we gotta go in there hungry and throw ourselves at every ball and fight for the field...

DelaCruz is done,he gave us all he had to give,he is hardly a starter for Reading,why did he not call up Jairo Montano.He keeps putting Reascos on left back and Reascos is not a left footer.He should have started Bagui who is a natural left footer.Bolanos should not be a starter,matter of fact he's not even ready for the NT.Y con Walter Ayovi como titular,of course we were gonna lose that game.But anyways we all know this was not our A team so that puts me at ease a little.

Re: Ecuador VS Peru after watching the highlight the reason we are losing games right now is becuse we dont have a finisher. with delgado not playing for the national team we dont have anyone to put the goals in. yes we have kavires tenario and others but all of these people for the execption of tenario are not finishing the plays the midfield setsup for them.
I would like to comment but first agree with LDU4ever this is good b/c the players thought this would be an easy winable gameand they fell flat on there face. What I saw on Sunday was a role reversal Ecuador has always played as a TEAM not the most talented but always together never playing the indidual game (showing off or trying to take on all the defenders) Peru who always had talented players but they never played as a team was less talented then Ecuador but for the first time they played as a TEAM. How many times did you see Ecuador play together making short passes and moving upfield (especially down the middle NEVER). Instead UDLC and Reascos tried to take everyone on the flanks and two or three Peruvian players were waiting to take the ball away. This is tough to say but as a LDU fan the blame falls on the midfielders (except Castillo) Urrutia, Bolanos and Walter Ayovi there was no communication they were not pressuring and the movement of the ball was slow once they moved the ball to the flanks they would dissappear. The fowards are fine and Suarez is smart he is thinking whats going to happened to Ecuador if God forbid Mendez or Valencia get hurt what Ecuadorian Midfielder is going to take over I use to think Urrutia was the answer but his game has dropped ever since the injury unfortunetly he is sub not a starter. W. Ayovi please don't get me started he is garbage (I think Suarez keeps calling him to the National team b/c he is left footed but instead of him I would rather have Ambrossi as the left mid fielder. Quiroz and Lucho Caicedo are not the answer Suarez should really give the kid Guerrero a shot to train and play with national team hey look at the foward Caicedo. Finally everyone on the boards are so down on Suarez and this reminds me of how everyone felt about Ecuador before the World Cup all the so called experts and some of the people on this very boards thought Ecuador would have an awful World Cup yet there was Suarez and he shut everyone up with a team that was amazingly prepared.
2 things... I understand Suarez is a tactician and he looks in the long term, most notably his references to WCQ and the Copa America but in the fans eyes, all these losses hurt, especially to the fans who have such high confidence in our boys. Be that as it may, I know we will be ready when it matters. I think Carlos Tenorio needs to stop and realize that Qatar is not a competitive league and leave his Lamborghini mentality out there with the sand and wealth. With Tin Delgado retired from NT (speculation he might come back) Tenorio needs to step up and play Tin's role as a crunch time finisher on a consistent level, he also needs to work with his current team and book his transfer to Bolton or one of those teams, he is my favorite player along with Felipe Caicedo and I don't want to see him turn into a sobrado...

And what other matches have Ecuador played this year? I know they lost against USA (3-1) and now Peru (2-1), but other matches? Didn't they played against Mexico? I think they tie Ireland in New Jersey 1-1 a week ago and lost against Mexico in California ,don't remember the score.
