We usually suck like this until right before WC prep and or when the moons miraculously allign and our top players are fit and in good playing form.

I thought Korea had a great game. The result is one thing and the process is another and with most of our starters missing, this was a good game. The reason why Lee Ho, Kim Jung-woo, Kang Min-soo all started was to test these players so there was no need for Pim to see the regulars. This was a friendly and a fcuking good friendly too. Asian teams don't really have many chances to play teams in the top ten ranks. So I guess this was Pim's motive to test players before going into the AC. He said it himself that the match against Holland would be the last test, and then after that for the matches against Iraq and Uzbekistan, there would be no surprises in squad selections.

What's new about Lee Chun-soo? Honestly, he should have been subbed out mid way thru the second half for Lee Geun-ho if this was meant to be a test. I really wanted to see Geun-ho play for longer because he has never been tested before while on the other hand we all know how LCS plays. (So this was one of my disappointments).

I thought Kang Min-soo did okay for his debut against tough opposition. He showed some nerve and was proactive in the back four.

I don't want to see the below players for the asian cup anymore UNLESS they seriously hit form which I doubt.

Kim Jung-woo (He's not needed at ALL whether or not he hits form or not :D)
Kim Dong-jin (yes, I don't want to see him nomore)
Lee Ho (Get him out NOW!!!!!!!!!!)

This was what Van Basten said about Korea

한국팀의 조직력은 훌륭하지만 경기 초반 공격 위주로 나가는 것보다 확실하게 조직력을 갖춘 후에 공격해서 수비와 균형을 이뤄야만 한다 "

And I fully agree, that's why we're so susceptible to goals from counters.

    ha ha ha ha,

You only have problems with 3 players on your National Team's potential AC squad. As for me, my list would go on and on forever if I were to bitch at the Chinese National Team squad for AC.

Exactly like you said, this loss wasn't a big deal. If I am not mistaken, all of your European based players are missing. It was basically the K-League all-star team vs the Dutch team. 2-0 loss ain't bad at all.

You'll crush Uzbek for sure. I also hope you crush Iran.

Yeah from what I've seen with today's match I don't want to see those three players make the final roster.

Yeah, Korea at times was looking leathal against the Dutch and was unlucky not to score at least once. The game was very open and the Dutch had one weak penalty call but who cares. It was a good place to test new comers.

Looking at the match I think the match should've ended 1-1. The Dutch didn't really put any pressure to the Korean goal as much as the Koreans did to the Dutch goal.

This guy is fcuking nuts or what? He's going against his own statement :D

    김두현 최악의 플레이

He said that, Ok so why the fcuk did you play him in the first place if he's so damn tired. This was a match to test young players. Anyway, I seriously hate that KDH is being used as a scapegoat. KDH sees the most minutes in the Seongnam team and obviously he's fcuking tired. You don't need to fcuking bash him in public. Then why the fcuk is lee ho being picked despite the fact that he never plays in Russia? He answers "Well he trains with the squad and I was playing him because I wanted to protect Siksama and Dae Ho." AH HAHAHAHAH this guy has IQ of 2 digits or what? Then why the fcuk didn't you protect KDH? Just keep playing that Kim Jung woo mofo who suddenly turned into an attacking midfielder. LOLOL

In my opinion, KDH didn't need to play. This pim character is using big words like "yeah, I have spoke to him separately after the match and I told him that if you play like this then trust me the only team you're gonna play for is Seongnam" LOLOL fcuk that, I can't wait until Hak Beum say something back to him.

Pim shouldn't have fielded him because Lee Ho didn't almost play in Zenit
As a result he made many mistakes in today's match.

Lee Ho, Kim Jung-woo, Kim Nam-il are DM.
Pim should have fielded offensive midfieder Kim Du-hyun instead of Lee Ho who showed the worst conditon.

Verbeek Savages K-League And Kim Doo-Hyun

    http://www.goal.com/en-us/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=318554

Following South Korea’s 2-0 defeat at home to the Netherlands in Seoul on Saturday night, Korean coach Pim Verbeek launced a scathing attack on the K-League and midfielder Kim Doo-hyun.

Three days prior to the game, a number of international players had been involved in a domestic cup semi-final that went into extra time and Verbeek believed that the effects were seen against the Dutch.

“I can’t believe the K-League organized a cup semi-final three days before a national team game,” said Verbeek after the game.

"If that’s how they want to treat the national team then we need to have serious discussions.”

“It is stupid, disrespectful and bad for Korean football.”

“It’s the first time in my life that I have seen a Korean team lose so much energy at the end of the game. They have played 22 games in less than three months. The players were tired and after it became 2-0, they were finished.”

Verbeek also had some stinging words for second half substitute Kim Doo-hyun.

“I really regret bringing him on. He was terrible. I told him that if he wants to play that way then I will kick him off the national team. He can stay in Seongnam.”

I'm surprised Pim was even able to find Ninjadoohyun on the field.

At international stage he has been just as bad as Lee Ho, if not worse. Blame is partially on Verbeek and Advocaat on not utilizing him properly but when the guy dissappears from the field time after time, you can't help but bench him.

Do you know why? Because in Seongnam unlike the Korean National Team, they don't play 뻥축구

That's what I said: it's Pim's fault for not utilizing properly. I'm not picking on him or Seongnam. I'm saying he shouldn't play in the 4-3-3, unless you want him keep playing like crap just like he has been. A 170cm player does not belong in the top half of the formation. So if Pim's reluctant on keeping his (or Advocaat's) 4-3-3, he shouldn't be playing him or picking him. Obviously, it was harsh of him to have high expectations on the first place. Maybe Verbeek's just upset because his performances change drastically everytime he plays for the national team, and if it's the case, I share the same anger. Even if you play the type of football that's very different from what suits you or what you have been playing, you can't just keep disappearing and expect to have the coach or anyone else let it go without saying anything.

Excuses, excuses and excuses... That's all Pim Veerbeck can do. What has he been doing for over the last 11 months? Let's see what kinds of excuses will be made at the Asian Cup next month.

Veerbeck can choose some options. If he wants to keep his international career, he can manage the teams like the Netherlands Antilles, Surinam, or Aruba. If he wants to work in his home country, he can coach 8-year-old kids at youth club. But he is not a right man to manage our national team.

I don't understand why he still fields a guy like Lee Ho. I've never bashed Kim Dong-jin, but I came to know that he is not as classy as he used to be in the Olympics in 2004. We all know these two Russian-based players sucked tonight. They did nothing but committed useless fouls behind the Dutch players. Maybe they had too much Vodka in Russia. And they may still have been wasted on the pitch. From what I've seen, however, Pim's great admiration for them will never change, especially for Lee Ho.

I hate to say this, but Korea will not go further in the Asian Cup. And Veerbeck will say, "I really regret European-based players were missing. The young players still need more experiences. The tight K-league schedule completely screwed up the Asian Cup. What can I say?"

I hope Veerbeck will prove me wrong.

I got to watch the game again. I thought we were just as horrible again. LCS was the only shining light on the squad. Dealing with an illness right now so not in a good mood but the game pissed me off in ways I havent been pissed in awhile. Im not sure how anyone couldve watched that game and been satisfied. So many g-dam bad passes and touches. How the heck did we hit this level? UCLA's soccer team has better technical fundamentals. Kim Jung Woo, Do Hyun, Lee Ho, Dong Jin, and a few guys Id never seen before....hellacious. You can blame Pim all you want but as long as you got scrubs like these trying to play this game, youre gonna be wanting new coaches every year.

Oh and during the half, they showed "highlights" of our games against Uruguay and Ghana.

is pim just another bonfrere? or is he suitable only to be an asst coach?
    he's gotta go.

hiddink had priceless experience, coaching teams like real madrid, valencia, betis. so he knew the cream of the crop european players and how they played.

van basten was impressed with our young, inexperienced side. and honestly, i think we fought well today.
