Alrighty folks, our first game down in Houstank is Sunday June 3rd at 4pm at Robertson Stadium. We've finally got our bus situation set up. The words from Travis(Mudpoet) Inferno president: All-inclusive price for Bus & Game is $55 The bus seats 50, and is on a first-come-first-served basis. You must pay to claim your seat. This bus WILL fill up, because it will be opened up to all Hoops Nation members a little later. We won't stop at 50, because we have a 2nd bus available. If there aren't enough people for the 2nd, money will be refunded. We'll have a sign-up at the tailgate (find either MOM, Erik, or a road-trip committee member), or you can pay online beginning 5/21 at http://www.the-inferno.net/houston/ The breakdown in price is $30 for bus & $25 for game ticket, but I recommend doing the $55 package rather than using Hoops Nation tickets. The reasoning for that is because H.N. tickets are for a different section. We can get a feel for how security is and whether or not we think we can sneak into the Inferno section at this game, then you can use your H.N. tickets for the second leg if we think we can get away with it. It also makes it easier for us to organize. So there's the situation for the bus. Tenative plans are to meet at Mockingbird Station with a departure time of 10AM sharp. It's my first FCD game back in the States, I can't wait
When will you be getting back? if the game is @ 4... it'll be over about 6... leaving how soon after that? the reason I ask is that I would absolutely love to do this... but i live in Lubbock during school, and am attending summer school... :-\ I just don't know how long of a drive it is from houston to dallas... if we'd be back in Dallas @ 10 I would go... If not, I'll just see you guys this Sunday at RSL game. ^_^
I don't think we left more than an hour after the game during the last bus trip. I'd predict we'll be back in Dallas by 11, 11:30.
Bumpage, online sign up will be available tomorrow. If you'd like to sign up today just head over to the Inferno tailgate and bring your money.
lets just say I need two tickets to the Inferno section but no bus. Where exactly would I get that? Travis? Bueler?
I'm new here. TIDN = ? I've seen it mentioned here and there but I'm not making the connexion as to what/where it is.
well I think Ashley and I are going to stick around that sh1thole of a city a little longer, because we got some old co-workers that just moved there. I know Travis doesn't get on here but I'm always afraid to be the first person to say "F the bus, I just need a ticket" on TIDN.
This was loads of fun last year. I recommend anybody sitting on the fence about this to go ahead and do it. You will not regret it.
I'm going. I used my wife's credit card so maybe she's going and I'm staying home. We'll see how stringent the boarding requirements are on game day.
Only halfway there. C'mon people, this is just more ammunition for those born on third base thinking they hit a triple.
It sounds like a lot of Hoops Nation people have exchanged their tickets already. If you already have tickets, but want to ride the bus, we have opened up that option to you. For bus ride ONLY: http://www.the-inferno.net/houston-busonly/ NOTE: If you don't already have tickets, I recommend going with the Bus + Ticket option (http://www.the-inferno.net/houston/). Using Hoops Nation tickets will put you in a non-festive area away from The Inferno.
What is the plan for distributing tickets to those of us who selected the bus + ticket option? Will they be mailed out in advance, or handed out on the bus, or will called at the stadium, or what?
