Great news for Ben Sahar, Chelsea and Israel!

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved a new law known in Israel as "The Ben Sahar Law" which would allow Ben to continue his progress with Chelsea.

The proposed law still has to pass three more readings in the Knesset before being enacted.

    This is fantastic!!!

This is excellent. Not just for Sahar but also for Guy Assulin and others! I think this will really help Israeli soccer improve...

I think israbeckham was joking. Anyway i think this is good because if in his spare time he goes and speaks at jewish schools in london and works in the embassy he can spread the news that israel is not a murderous country which everyone thinks and it will be better than him having to file papers and stuff. Unless they seriously needed him, i say he stays in england.

Regardless of how this turns out, I read in one of the articles that his military service no matter what has been postponed by a year.

lol ya i was joking, but IF he does make it to the senior squde next year he will be a substitute. probabaly play as much as diarra late appearences here and there. hopefully tho he can become an impact player.

i can expect him to do what walcott as done for arsenal this season. 1 or 2 goals a couple of assits...

This is fantastic. I'am a Chelsea Member, and a big fan of Ben Sahar. I was talking about this a few days ago, whther he will have to do national service or not. Sahar has a great future at Chelsea and a great prospect for Israel

Ben Sahar seems like a real winner to me. Everything he's attempted thus far he's suceeded in, a big move to Europe at 17, scored lots of goal in youth team football and reserve level (including a goal against Arsenal with Mart Poom, Senderos etc, a hat-trick against Aston Villa reserves), the goal and performance that helped defeat France in the U21 game, the substitute brace against Estonia again against Mart Poom (making him Chelsea's youngest ever international scorer), his performance at the Dallas Cup where he finished 2nd top scorer, good performances in his stint in the full Chelsea team, good progress in deflecting military service and now...
the EURO U21 tournament to look forward to, possible FA Cup Final substitute spot and he's won Young Chelsea player of the year at aged 17.

    Phenomenal season.

Ben Sahar still scored a critical goal and according to people who watched the game, was electric.

Misha, it seems like you hate all of our players that play in Europe and only like the domestic players.
