i've literally lost my mind....I'm seriously going to shell out 84 dollars for a ticket to see the original 5 members of Duran Duran in July.

    [humor=Goodsport] For $84 you'd think they'd let you hear them too. [/humor]

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been so out of sorts lately.

You think when you find your mind you can help me find my brain? :D

TCS just gave me my laugh for the day:

    "WHAT I'LL BE WATCHING:

Saturday – Quakes-Fire (4:00 pm ET on The Deuce): The Quakes are off a bye, although many of their players toiled for the Yanks. Some would say the Fire are also coming off a bye, since they played the Rapids last weekend.

Saturday – Rapids-Galaxy (9:00 pm ET on Fox Sports World): Can the Galaxy win on the road? Can the Rapids win on the planet? Can you say draw?"

I just LOVE seeing Darrieri's team in the state it's in.

    That's hilarious.

Finished one book. I think that makes a total of 2 books read (three books combined).

So exhausted from lack of movement. Lots of tea, lots of sitting in the sun. Too easy, not enough thinking. I might have to break out the Machiavelli again so I have something to think about.

    Soooooo tiiiiiiiiired.

That's okay Amy. I always knew you were loony! That's why I love ya! :p

I can't sleep tonight. This is not good.

It has NOT been my week.

    That's not good either.

You ever have those days where you have so much to do and so much to think about that you just can't think or do anything?

Yeah, that's been my week. Ever since Monday really.

I finally got enough sleep. The last two days I've just given up and gone to bed early.

But here I am. And I can't sleep!!!

Would someone like to volunteer to knock me over the head with a baseball (what's that?) bat and just put me out for the night?

Either that or just bring me a good bottle of red wine. I'm completely out. And that would help me sleep about now.

Hmm...speaking of red wine! I'm going to visit my daddy in Paso Robles on the way home from the LA game.

We should go wine tasting again. I like going wine tasting with my daddy. It's fun to watch all the people look at us like, "What the heck is that young girl doing with that old man?" Especially when my dad keeps throwing his money around and telling me to get whatever I want cuz he "has money don't worry, honey."

Last time, one older couple was so obsessed with trying to figure our "relationship" out that they couldn't take their eyes off of us, let alone pay attention to the wine they were tasting. It was hilarious.

Get a clue people! He's my dad!!!

Anyway, it's just funny to watch people watching us. At least we get a laugh out of it.

    I NEED SLEEP!!!

Please someone get over here and knock me out!!

This is so not good. Cuz I still haven't found my brain so I can think. And I can't get to sleep. AND I have this stupid paperwork that I have to have completed for work tomorrow morning. It's not done and here I am. Can't think, can't sleep, can't get my work done. :(

*sigh* Well, I guess I'll just take myself off to bed and try to sleep.

    Gute Nacht!

    Yes, Amy, you're certainly looney!

And on just three hours of sleep, you seem even loonier! :p

Anyway, running on three hours sleep, let's see how long I can make it today. I'm not predicting it's gonna be long before I need another cup of coffee. As a matter of fact, I may get one on the way to work.

But the paperwork is done. Been up since three to get it done. *yawn* Yep, I'm tired!

Let's just hope this paperwork doesn't have the jinx that my week has had! It's pretty darned important!

    Alrighty, off to work....

    Tschüs!

My sister had her baby on wednesday at 3:27. Her baby shower is tomarrow, but I've decided not to go. The baby is 6 weeks to early and is having some complications. He'll be fine. They named him Isaac. I've been baby sitting my nephew Ruben for the past two days. I don't think he relizes he's an older brother now and no longer "the baby" He's 18 months old though.

    Tomarrow's game should be awesome.

The US vs Wales game was awesome. I got to see and say a few words to Joe C. and he basically made my day. TEAR! :( He's so cool. It would have been cooler if he played though.

Congrats on the new nephew, RSC.

I really miss having kids in my life. Kids are the greatest! They always make me smile. Even when they're annoying as heck! :D

I made it an hour and a half. Then it was off to Starbucks.

It's gonna be a long day....

    Thanks SJQF.

Yeah, I like kids too. But I have this phobia. I can't really care for a child unless they can litterally hold there own head up. I'm scared of infants. They're just too fragile and I'm scared they'll slip and fall threw my hands or something so I just stay away from them.

But then I start to resent them. For examle, Ruben dropped some of my cds on the floor. He was taking them out of my cd rack, so I had to reorganize it. Then Ruben had my cd booklet for my Juliana Theory "Love" cd and I took it away and he started to throw a fit so I gave it back to him and he riped the cover off. I was p*ssed and was litterally about to cry because it's signed too..which sort of made the booklet less valuable.

    :(

    WARNING: CONTENT

In the most recent issue of spin they had a picture of one of them in Brazil and he was selling replica molds of his "thing" and making videos about that type of "stuff". He has a bald head and they say he is going crazy.... Or was it depeche mode?

I still think both kick butt.

I paided almost 90 for Lollapalooza. Whick is gonna be awesome... I am going to see Incubus, The Kings of Leon (who I met last Wenesday, nice guys but they smoke to much) and Rooney.

Also, I am going to see Maroon 5 for free on Thursday.. Everyone should go it is a concert in the park in SJ.. I forgot where but go to http://www.channel1049.com

And my newest nephew looks exactly like his older brother.. The deal is that I take care of them when they are infants and Mari watches them once they are toddlers.....

Have a good weekend everyone.. I might go to the Coldplay concert tonight!!

I know what you mean. When my uncle had his first child and asked if i wanted to hold her, i said no, and he got all offended. But i was afraid i was going to break her or something. Babies are just too tiny.

I love babies! Once they start walking and talking they get very hard to chase after. I'd rather just hold them.

I've been teetering on the edge of a panic attack for a few hours now and I'm doing okay so we'll see how long I stay okay. It's caused by a combination of missing someone a lot, getting back into that run-for(almost)ever-not-tired shape, and Confederations Cup.

I'm pretty disappointed that I don't have time to do what I want this summer. No England, no Chicago. I doubt I'll make it out to Sandestin or even the Island...

Um, that would be Warren and he's not one of the original 5....he replaced Andy Taylor. He went back to Missing Persons for their reunion and well that kinda paved the way for the Duran reunion.

Simon said he'd remain in Duran if they got the early 80s lineup together again, or he was out.. Warren got Missing Persons back together 'cos he wanted a paycheck, and maybe the sales of his "thing" are low..

    Holy heck!

I never thought this day would come....

I'm not sure I can say why I just said that. Maybe I should give it a few days. It's kinda game related but not Quake game related. If you're watching the LA game you may know what I'm getting at.

NO!! No, none of the above!!

I was just actually happy for Darrieri for a split second. I mean he did score the game winner against LA. And I thought there was no way LA could possibly lose to that pathetic team!

    That's all.

    But I'm over it now.

Though your guesses are kinda making me sick to my stomach.
