Altidore to share field with Adu

    It was just three years ago when Jozy Altidore sat in the stands in a Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. stadium watching Freddy Adu work his magic. Altidore watched in awe as the prodigy worked, but couldn't miss his chance to let Adu know he planned on joining him on the field one day.

    neither. i'm sure adu is happy for altidore's success, but i don't think there's any awe involved. adu is playing well, but he's nothing to be in awe of at the moment. altidore is certainly more deserving.

    I hope they both become great in their respective position. We need this young guys to become great, which will be good both USMNT and MLS.

    Not necessary for MLS. Once they've improved and showed quality soccer, they're gone. MLS will probably make a few $ off the transfer fee, but that's all.
