Gainsville. Home of the biggest gnats I've ever seen. And those gnats were man eaters.

We need to spread the field. Other teams just loads up in the middle and we just have no others options.

Sadly, New England wasn't doing much challenging until their defensive third. I didn't see much improvement until the desperate last minute, which was the FIRST TIME SINCE THE HOME LEG AGAINST CHIVAS that the team acted like it had to take real action to win.

Only goal from a phantom penalty. I don't see any real improvement. We'll see after the weekend. And getting a point against a team with no interest in attacking, who were a man down for a half hour, who were totally overwhelmed in the possession figures-- one point out of the first four games-- is a disaster.

We'll be fine. Thank you, though.

don't get me wrong, i'm quite disappointed with the tie. but for the first time, the guys seemed more focused. i mean, not everything was pulled off with grace and/or brilliance but there were moments when the team looked like the team we know they can be. it's a step forward and i'm just waiting for a leap.

The combination of Olsen, Gomez, and Moreno in NOT working. In fact nothing worked. They looked as bad as the Nats did againts Ghana. Something has got to give, and I say it is Moreno. I'm sorry, I've been a loyal fan, and all due respect to his potential Bolivia call-up. However, he needs to be off the field for a couple of games. Have the organization have him fake an injury or something in order to give the guy a break from the media.

And, although this may say to soothsayerish I feel that there will be some preverbial "asking for the head" of Soehn going on in the next couple of days.
Let be be one to support the call. Can I suggest a thread for "Let the heads roll?"

There is a simple solution for that: Fred as center mid. Get some experience on the right for young players like Justin Moose, or put Gros there and play McTavish in the back instead of Gros.

Then Gomez can contemplate how good of a contract anywhere on this earth he is earning while sitting on the bench with a reputation as a loafer. He might find some motivation, if only for selfish reasons.

Not from me. You're on your own there Cassandra. Best game of the season we've played to date, especially that first half. Acting upset because we didn't get all three points is incredibly naive given the start to this season. I wanted to see a team that played worth enough to get a win, and that's what I got. That's all I want any game. Could things have been better? Sure, but things were so much better than the last three games.
