adds a high touch of class to the pitch , specially at nite.. adds atmosphere as well, loved the look and feel it gave to the HDC last nite.. y don't all the SS stadia have em , expense?
In Dallas they just installed one of those on the midlevel facade of the stadium. But no, not yet on the field like at HDC.
but they look horrible compared to those at emirate's stadium or at any of the other big clubs. They are disjointed, too big, I have no idea why they look so off.
Most clubs in Europe don't have this. I don't see why we need to get them either. Just unnecessary expense really.
Beckham has been with two super clubs and we like to think hes coming a third... Thats the problem with LA fans and Lalas.. they think the galaxy are a super club lol.
I can't read them on TV unless it's in HD. They may look nice at the grounds, but they're mostly worthless on FSC and Telefutura.
Well they are supposed to eventually make a profit and not be an expense.. If you're a superclub like the Galaxy, the amount people will pay to have their product or service on your boards justifies any expense. That's why the big clubs like Man Utd, Real Madrid and the Galaxy have them.. You can charge more than for the old fashion boards. At least that's the idea..

Does the HDC have them going around the whole pitch? I was watching the Galaxy play Chivas the other night and it looked like they only had them on the side the tv cameras were facing.
