  1. The weirdest thing in MLS this year....

...has got to be Ronnie O'Brien's goal celebration. For anyone who missed it...O'Brien pranced to the sideline with his hands up at his side like a kangaroo and then him and Suarez? face eachother and put their right pinkey up to their lips like Dr Evil. That was great....

i believe its the doctor evil run. not sure in which movie it is weather the first, second, or third, but Dr. Evil runs around like that. very... ummm... interesting

  4. Too bad Glenn/Ty were oblivious to the Austin Powers reference.....

Also, how did you guys think Glenn did with Ty? I thought he was rpetty good. Seems as though Ty is shutting up/getting better lately. Maybe Jack will get lost in Williamsport....

Yeah, they are much better together. However, their analysis of Suarez in the first half was off. Beasely was the one who I felt was off from his game.

When Clint Mathis scored his second goal of the season before departuring to the world Cup, he celebrated the goal by making love to the Giant Stadium grass, doing the sex movements anyone would do in a real sex act. The refere saw him and did not like it. I was waiting for a red card or something like that.

  7. Why he would ever like naything those NJSA bastards do or own is beyond me.....I hope these celebrations are on the highlight video (if they release one for this season)

But doing it so badly I didn't realize he was breakdancing until the post-game interview. And usually I recognize breakdancing straight off.

Clint, to married the Giant Stadium grass?. I guess is is upset now that the Giant put the football lines all over the place for the start of the pre-season. Clint is mad. Dont mess with his wife.

The weirdest thing I can remember in MLS this year is a) Hristo coming into the SJ game without a number and b) being sent off and coming back a few minutes later with a little 8 written on his shirt, just below his neck.

btw, that goal celebration looked stupid to me but what do I know.

I liked the Dr. Evil dance celebration.

Clint was doing a bad version of the worm, and then he spun onto his side and posed with his head resting in his hand. Sheesh, guys...go rent Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo, or something. :)

I still remember a young Mathis doing the Funky Chicken while in LA, that was great. I was thinking... "Damn, who does this guy think he is, he ain't that good."

    Oops... :D

He had to score to celebrate, which is why I don't remember his celebrations

Exactly. Our generation calls it the worm. Pretty hard to do, he must have been practicing!

Yeah, that was funny. But everyone that's anyone knows Hristo and his #. Why did the ref need the #?

Agreed, however I think there is a logical explanation for all this. When walking down the ramp towards the field, it looked as though he didn't have game clothes on. Maybe they decided he should play, so give him a practice jersey with no number?

That was funny. What was weird was Ty calling it a Mardi Gras celebration.

Having never been to Mardi Gras celebration I could be wrong, but that did not look like a Mardi Gras celebration.

I think Billy Walsh starting for the Fire is weird too.
