A STRIKE NOMAR WANTS It was one of the few nights off at home for the Red Sox, but when teammate Nomar Garciaparra asks for your help, you don't think twice about turning out to show your support. Scores of pro athletes and celebs turned out at the Town Line Ten Pin lanes in Malden last night for the Nomar Bowl to raise money for Garciaparra's Nomar 5 Fund. Last night, Mayor Tom Menino joined Garciaparra in announcing that Nomar 5 Fund's Adopt-A-Classroom program will be in Boston this year, thanks to the $300,000 raised last night. Governor Mitt Romney lent his support, as did Garciaparra's galpal, soccer star Mia Hamm; designer Joseph Abboud; and chefs Todd English and Jasper White.
