Yeah, and I run at night so when I feel like setting down after a long run, I just set down, watch Family Guy or whatever and go to sleep. I can't wake up in the mornings unless I *have* to (work and sometimes I attend classes), so night's the only choice for me.

It's all up to you and when you have time.

like you, I have to balance school and work, but I've been able to get it all together by alternating days at the gym and on the pitch.

    MWFSu- gym
    TuThSaSu- pitch
I rarely have anybody to go to the pitch with me....so I tend to work on my ball control and quickness on the ball, and mix in some striking.

I normally do all of this after the 7pm hour, spending abround an hour at the gym and more often than not about an hour and a half on the pitch, depending on which might it is.

hwo do you work at the pitch by yourself. People always give motivational speeches, work by yourself practise and you will become good, but what do you do???

    1. juggling-work on pattern juggling, like 2 low juggles with right and then left foot, then knock the ball really high and settle with thigh...repeat. learn to make the ball do what you want it to do.

    2. dribble through cones-set them up in different patterns and lengths. go for technique first, then speed.

    3. work on trapping the ball-punt the ball up as high as possible and work on bringing it down with different parts of the body.

    4. practise moves

    5. shooting-i always take cones and place 2 of them about a yard inside of each post...and work on hitting the corners...trying to place the ball between the cone and the post.

only a few things you can do with the ball and yourself.

That's pretty much what I do when I'm alone, but usually I have a friend who goes with me. We always act as the wall or a goalie for each other and practice free kicks, too, and then we do 3-4 PK shoot outs with each other. He's getting pretty damn good at hitting any corner he wants consistently.

Every once in a while we get a third friend who comes along. We do a little game where one of us is goalie, the other is the defender and the other is attacking, and we play like in basketball where you have to take it back a little bit after you steal it. Whichever of the defense gets the ball gets to take it and attack and the attacker takes his place. I've gotten a lot better at 1v1 situations to set myself up for a shot as a result of this. Try to find 2 friends. You'll be surprised who'll find out they like playing after they go once or twice.

That little game is a good workout, also, since we don't take breaks.

When my friend and I play 1 v 1 we play you have to hit a post to score. This way you have to defend the whole net but the person can't just randomly shoot away. The thing is, I am basically way the hell better than him so it is too easy for me now. No one else wants to come out and practise!
They took the nets down at my field!!!! Now, what am I supposed to do? This is stupid.
Today we were working on shooting9against a wall), I suddenly learned how to shoot very hard. I just relaxed and hit with my whole foot it is awesome, the thing is I have very little accuracy if I use my new found power shot, so I'm gonna practise it up for a while now. It is awesome it dips and dives and goes crazy, except i can't control it but it still happens so it is pro. Today was like my shooting epiphany.
