What a night. Know am abit late but who cares.

    Starry starry night.

    Starry, starry night.
Paint the future red and white....
Look out on a summer's night
With eyes that know theyre doing everything right
    Romans on the hill
Scatching their heads and wondering still
Just what the devil it was they had to do

    CHORUS:
    Now they understand
What was always on his mind
How he loves to make them whine
    How he wants to tease
Totti, he couldnt play, he did not know how
    Perhaps he never will

    Starry, starry night
Ron and Roon provide the glow
Running rings in that evening show
There's pride in Fergie's eyes of Scottish hue
    Three goals up....then four
    Roma's burning, man, theyre sore
Tired eyes look to the heavens
Oh, my gosh! So soon its seven!

    CHORUS:
    Fergie didnt love them
That much we all now know
For when he had them on their backs, on that
    starry, starry night
He said 'hit them hard, like Devils always do'
    You didnt need to, Ferguson
Man U were always doign it for you

    Starry starry night...
    Romas hanging in the hall
Shameless heads all line the walls
All empty eyes that cant and wont forget
    Totti, Rossi, Manchini
They crossed the pond with hopes and dreams
Now crushed and broken far away from home
    Now i think they know
    Perhaps, they never will

The passing on the 2nd and 3rd goals was simply amazing.

People love to dismiss the direct attack play of English football but you saw it in all of its glory in the first 20 minutes of that match.

When Giggs set up Rooney for his goal and turned to look at the crowd with his arms raised as if to say, "WHO'S RUNNING THIS SH!T?!?!?!" was brilliant.

Great performance and even better 8 of the starting 11 were British, unlike Chelsea who had 3. Smith and Fletcher were phenominal at chasing the ball down and just their overall work. Smith should start every game from now 'til the end of the season. In my opinion he should have started against Portsmouth. He's always looked sharp when he has come on for us in the past few weeks. Anyway, Bayern or AC Milan..I'd prefer Bayern but bring them both on!

Would anyone be willing to help me out with getting a quality DVD copy of this match? I'd download it off a torrent, but this school is incredibly strict with their internet. I'd be willing to pay for the cost of the DVD, shipping, and materials, plus a small bit for the trouble. Just PM me if you'd be willing to help.

Also, it would be probably be convenient if the person could be from the Isles, to cut down on shipping costs and time.

The Current Torrent I've seen is a lower Quality Version of what was shown on my Australian TV. So I think you might wait a bit. I'd love DVD quality too.

My husband always makes fun of Giggs, calls him the Opa (old man) and for some reason loves to point out his every error. Yesterday, he was jumping up and down on the couch, screaming about the brilliant Opa and celebrating his every bit of awesomeness. I told you so, you silly man. It was a beautiful game.

I'm incredibly happy for Smith; I thought he proved his place as a starter. Huge game for both Carrick and Fletcher in terms of confidence and showing their worth in a Scholes-less midfield. Rio and Brown were magnificent; Oshea didn't screw anything up; Heinze was back to fierceness and tenacity; Ronaldo was his usual brillant self. Rooney didn't seem plagued by the lack of goals as usual; he slotted his in with utter confidence. Did I already say it was beautiful? Because it was. Beautiful.

Apparently Totti had said before this match that it was more important than the World Cup Final.

Just for those of you who keep posting pictures of him and that trophy. At least Totti understands club>>>country.

^^^ especially for totti, as he loves his club even more than most other players, and seems to be indifferent, at best, towards the azzurri.

Yeah, I do admire Totti and De Rossi for their devotion to their club. Those players are probably going to spend their entire careers there.

Pity they wont win anything then.

Smudge's Chances of winning anything were saved by leeds being relegated.

ehh, it makes for totti the occasional hardware all the more sweet, I guess, like the scudetto in 2001. De rossi, though, I'm still not sure he will stay with roma always, just a feeling I get.

I didn't want to read the previous thousand pages of this thread, does anyone know where I could find video highlights of this game? I meant to record it yesterday but forgot. My firewall here doesn't let me see youtube.
