appreciate your sentiment, but theres still plenty to talk about.

Reading have two games in three days, so I can see Seol getting some time this week.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprisd at all to see Seol appearing at Charlton.

As a side note, Reading's pre season tour this summer is to be in South Korea

yes, i believe Reading will be taking part in the Peace Cup friendly tournament this summer.

Spurs will be there, as will Olympique Lyonnais and PSV Eindhoven. Seongnam FC will probably represent K-league.

8 teams take part, and in the last Peace Cup for Clubs in 2005; Boca Juniors (Argentina), Sundown FC (S.Africa), Real Sociedad (Spain), Once Caidas (Colombia), Spurs (England), Olympique Lyonnais (France) and PSV Eindhoven (Holland) and Seongnam FC (Korea) took part.

So it should be quite good tournament for Reading to take part in.

in 2006 the Peace Cup was held for Womens Football and named it Peace Queen Cup Korea; Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Italy, Korea, Holland, Canada and the US took part in that one. Quite a good tournie that was.

this year, they are reverting it back to Clubs.

I think the news said Seol will start in the next match against Charlton - that match is on Monday, I think.

Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R]

the chief executive of Reading said going to the far east (probably Korea, but he didn't specifically say) was the most likely option, but nothing has been sorted yet. We're also apparently looking at two options in the United States and another couple in Europe.

If it looks like Seol is going to leave then you'd think it would make going much less likely.

It also depends how Seol has sold his country to his teammates. If they, and the manager, don't fancy it, then it probably won't happen.

Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R]

the question is not will Seol start but in which position will he be playing in?

    Left wing or Right wing?

    i'd prefer Right wing.

but does anyone know which position he played in last week's reserve game?

one thing for sure, whether he starts or comes on as a sub or plays left or right, hes got a lot to prove. He needs to cement his great start in the EPL with a great finish. Unfortunatley people have short memories and can be flackey and can turn against a player who theyd been praising a moment before. Of course it works the other way round too.

Seol, finish strong. Play it like you did at the start of the season.....or even better play it like you did in 2002. Rip them apart, skin them alive, ram it in.

Seol just bamboozled a handful of defenders on the way to getting a pretty good shot off on goal ('24).

    Seol with an amazing run.

gets the ball from near the half way line, goal all the way to near the box, beating 3 defenders, takes shot but goalies parries.

Heh...Seol's pretty much walking around the field even when he has the ball. You really don't have to wonder why he's getting benched. On a side note, I must hate Shorey with some kind of passion, I feel constipated everytime he has the ball. Eek.
