Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Shouldn't really be starting a new thread when the old one hasn't run it's course yet - could be rather confusing to other users. Anyway, it looks like there's a good chance of Seol playing in the match against Charlton on the 9th. http://sports.media.daum.net/nms/wo...w.do?cate=23772&newsid=26578&_RIGHT_SPORTS=R4
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] This thread shouldn't exist until he actually DOES revive.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] appreciate your sentiment, but theres still plenty to talk about. i rate Seol, and i can see his revival before the end of the season.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Reading have two games in three days, so I can see Seol getting some time this week.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Yeah I wouldn't be surprisd at all to see Seol appearing at Charlton. As a side note, Reading's pre season tour this summer is to be in South Korea
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] yes, i believe Reading will be taking part in the Peace Cup friendly tournament this summer. Spurs will be there, as will Olympique Lyonnais and PSV Eindhoven. Seongnam FC will probably represent K-league. 8 teams take part, and in the last Peace Cup for Clubs in 2005; Boca Juniors (Argentina), Sundown FC (S.Africa), Real Sociedad (Spain), Once Caidas (Colombia), Spurs (England), Olympique Lyonnais (France) and PSV Eindhoven (Holland) and Seongnam FC (Korea) took part. So it should be quite good tournament for Reading to take part in. in 2006 the Peace Cup was held for Womens Football and named it Peace Queen Cup Korea; Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Italy, Korea, Holland, Canada and the US took part in that one. Quite a good tournie that was. this year, they are reverting it back to Clubs. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=512211 this is the thread for it.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] not even on the bench this morning Reading: Marcus Hahnemann, Michael Duberry, Ivar Ingimarsson, Nicky Shorey, Brynjar Gunnarsson, James Harper, Stephen Hunt, John Oster, Steve Sidwell, Kevin Doyle, Dave Kitson. Substitutes: Adam Federici, Andre Bikey, Greg Halford, Leroy Lita, Shane Long.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] it was on the news and everthing that seol will start but not even on bench loll
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] I think the news said Seol will start in the next match against Charlton - that match is on Monday, I think.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] the chief executive of Reading said going to the far east (probably Korea, but he didn't specifically say) was the most likely option, but nothing has been sorted yet. We're also apparently looking at two options in the United States and another couple in Europe. If it looks like Seol is going to leave then you'd think it would make going much less likely. It also depends how Seol has sold his country to his teammates. If they, and the manager, don't fancy it, then it probably won't happen.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] If a Korean Crowd hears English Premier League, the place will be packed.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] I hope he is on the bench tonight. It could become an asian blattle Seol vs Zhi.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Reading (from): Hahnemann, Federici, Halford, Ingimarsson, Bikey, Shorey, Oster, Seol, Sidwell, Harper, Hunt, Kitson, Lita, Doyle, Long, de la Cruz, Gunnarsson, Bennett, Murty From BBC.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] the question is not will Seol start but in which position will he be playing in? Left wing or Right wing? i'd prefer Right wing. but does anyone know which position he played in last week's reserve game? one thing for sure, whether he starts or comes on as a sub or plays left or right, hes got a lot to prove. He needs to cement his great start in the EPL with a great finish. Unfortunatley people have short memories and can be flackey and can turn against a player who theyd been praising a moment before. Of course it works the other way round too. Seol, finish strong. Play it like you did at the start of the season.....or even better play it like you did in 2002. Rip them apart, skin them alive, ram it in.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Reading 01 Hahnemann 23 De la Cruz 16 Ingimarsson 22 Bikey 03 Shorey 19 Ki-Hyeon 04 Sidwell 15 Harper 10 Hunt 24 Long 08 Lita Substitutes 32 Federici, 06 Gunnarsson, 09 Doyle, 11 Oster, 12 Kitson
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Seol just bamboozled a handful of defenders on the way to getting a pretty good shot off on goal ('24).
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Seol with an amazing run. gets the ball from near the half way line, goal all the way to near the box, beating 3 defenders, takes shot but goalies parries.
Re: Seol Ki Hyun Revival Thread Part 5 [R] Heh...Seol's pretty much walking around the field even when he has the ball. You really don't have to wonder why he's getting benched. On a side note, I must hate Shorey with some kind of passion, I feel constipated everytime he has the ball. Eek.
