what do you expect if you decide to jump riot police...c'mon man. English fans are a bunch of drunks. the majority of them act like real idiots when they're drunk...no class and Im not only talking about football fans. have you ever gone to a rock concert surronded with english? Piss drunk, looking for trouble!!!! I love the music that comes out of Britian, the best music ever but you guys are a bunch of assholes when you start hitting the sauce!!!!! Try not getting piss drunk and all of this could've been avoided.

    Forza Roma!!!!

Too right, a great day for football, United should get a five year ban.

You miss the point, it seems. If you take off those blinkers you'd see that Ronaldo was a constant and serious threat on that counter attack and hence the reason Roma constantly resorted to shooting from far out despite their numerical man advantage. Roma blew it, it's as simple as that. A 2-1 win is not that great going into Old Trafford facing 12 men (with the crowd support), and not 10 this time in all likelyhood!! I suspect Ronaldo and Roooney will be very, very tough to play against in that second leg.

Talk about timing. :D But of course, the evil police just have it in for English fans all over the continent....has nothing to do with how they behave or anything.

Is this shot taken before or after? Anyone know? My guess is before. Notice the buffer on the right side, stewards containing the MU supporters. They must of broke the stewards hold, easily of course because I wouldn't want to deal with them either if I was a stewards, and the police we then sent in before the barrier was knocked down, just my guess of course. After the cops, they never turned around and went back to that area where they were contained as seen in that pic.

Hey Mike , I'll bet my San Jose Earthquakes in the 70's wouldn't have lost by 7 goals. (Ten maybe but never 7!:D )

    were you there?

i was. the police were a disgrace. they beat people that didn't cause trouble. they beat women, middle-aged ones at that. they beat fans as they lay on the floor. they charged the entire section, almost causing a stampede. the stewards teased and mocked the united fans throughout. the so-called security guards threw things into the united end.

want to talk history? talk about recent history, like what happened with palermo and catania. the italians ignore their problems, which is why they feed their simpleton audience with bullshit about 'drunken english yobs'. it's you guys that have the problems with football violence these days. you're where the english were twenty years ago.

Yea, because Catania has been able to have fans attend their game since, correct? Shut up, you don't know what you're talking about. Measures have been taken and laws have been passed, worry about your own league. And don't be such a hypocrite when the MU fans are notorious for causing trouble abroad for years now. Such mindless trolls some of you have become. I guess your bigotry has gotten the best of some of you.
