By now there is a lot of info on this board and elsewhere on recruits. Can "youz guys" share any transfers you know of be they incoming or out going?. Let me start. Furman has 2 incoming: Mark Futrell - Soph - M/D- From St Johns(NCAA D1) Nick LeBlanc - Jr - D -Auburn-Montgomery(NAIA)
Here are the transfers that have been officially announced by Division I schools when they released their recruiting classes. That said, over 100 programs have not announced their recruiting classes so there are likely more transfers out there we don’t yet know about. And, there is a rumor floating around on another thread that Stephen Shirley, a member of the U20 pool, is transferring from Mobile, where he won an NAIA national title as a freshman last year, to Virginia Commonwealth.
I heard the same thing about Ryan Kelly back in February. Don't think there has been any kind of official announcement, but he and Chris Wingert played together at FC Delco and I've also heard their Fathers may have played together. Take it for what it's worth.
hasnt been officially mentioned by either school but it is true and tiger is right about the connection with wingert. kelly is also tight with gaudette the keeper and my understanding is that he will play alongside wingert in the back.
Going from Charlottesville to Jamaica NY is not going to be an easy transition, unless the kid happens to be from NYC.
hey sprite...what are you talking about??? its not in the ghetto??...its in jamaica estates, not necessarily a ghetto in my eyes!!! I went to SJU and the campus, new stadium and surrounding area are beautiful. So dont post lies , post facts...
Easton Wilson, soon to be sophomore at Univ of Hartford is headed to UCONN. He has 10 goals and 3 assists for UHART last season.
Reporting from Saint Louis Mo, this is cub reporter soccetom with breaking news that hometown star Clayton Peters is transferring home to Saint Louis U from Stanford. While @ Stanforn Peters saw limited action his first 2 years. Peters played prep Soccer for powerhouse Chaminade and is a very capable defender/midfielder with a nifty left foot. Peters will greatly compliment an already fantastic SLU recruiting class.
soccertom Soccertom...I don't mean to be rude, but I've seen Clayton Peters play a few times (like you said he only gets minimal minutes) and he's not a very good player at all. You might argue that he made the Stanford team and what not but truth be told he sucks. I wouldn't be too happy to be having him go to St. Louis but I wish you the best of luck with all that. I figure he's just gonna ride the pine there like he did at Stanford, but maybe playing at home will help with his confidence and his game. Cross your fingers.
Re: soccertom I expect him to contribute. Time will tell us how effective a player he is or will become. By no stretch of my imagination would I describe the abilities of Peters as sucking.....
Re: soccertom Like you said, he's not much of a player, but I just hope everything's ok with the kid ... academically, he'd be expected to graduate next spring. And not to disrespect SLU, but why walk away from a Stanford degree?
In visiting the SLU website I noticed that Clayton Peters is no longer being mentioned on the 2003 roster or on the 2003 Quick Facts PDF page.
Does this refer to Ambersly or Moor? Indianapolis has two DivI options Iupui and Butler. Butler need a striker(s) to be able to deal with the UWM over 25's and is looking for D's too.
