O.k. guys, next week is the US and Guatemala game in Frisco. I know that both Newtex and Senor Cool are traveling up to Frisco for the game, so we are wanting to see who else is planning on going to the game.

Our plan is to drive up in the morning hours, and then come back after the game. So come on all you TA/EB members, let's go rock Frisco again.

    Remember:

If it wasn't for the Army
NO ONE WOULD GO TO FRISCO

We'll be heading up early too. It's gonna be an awesome match but the drive bites ! We head back after the game and then go to Houston the next evening for our son's first session with the Dynamo youth program. 10 hours of driving Wednesday and 6 hours Thursday. All for a good reason though so we'll deal just fine !

Even Houston fans are welcome in Frisco when they wear the Red, White, and Blue. ;)

It looks like we've got two Sam's Army pre-game locales:

Tailgate just north of Pizza Hut Park
or Poppy's Pizza in Frisco Square, directly across Main Street from the stadium.

We're working on getting drink specials at Poppy's for fans wearing USA kits

    See you all there!

    Goooooooooooooooooooooooo USA...
    USA, USA, USA!!

We live about 45 mins outside of Austin. On the side that makes our drives long but like I said well worth it ! Been doing the Frisco/Dallas drive for years so Houston is a piece of cake for us. Plus, it gives us time to talk...soccer :D Good family bonding time.

Thanks :) We had a close call coming home from the cancelled Dynamo game last week. An 18 wheeler ran us off the road but thankfully we had room to move. A mile earlier and we would have only had a deep ditch to go down into and that would have hurt! Didn't prevent us from driving back the next night for the rescheduled match either.

    FYI -

The USA Supporters and Sam's Army will be in the section behind the goal - you can contact Kevin Lindstrom directly at 214-705-6748 for more information on tickets.

Since this is a USSF event there will be a charge for parking.

TAILGATE in the Blue lot between the stadium and Field # 1

Alternate spot for pre-game at "Poppy's" - a soccer friendly Italian Restuarant - directly across Main Street from the South entrance of the stadium.

Three cheers for the Red, White, and Blue!

I'll be there and hopefully I'll be drunk by 6! Thankfully I'm not driving back to Houston that night. Sometimes it's helpful to know at least one person in the crappiest city on earth. ;-)

Why does PHP get so many friendlies? It seems like they get more than Columbus and Dick's. Is it to help FCD get into the black?

BTW could any FCD fans tell me if FCD gets all the profits of the stadium or does some of it go to the city of Frisco?

Most of the profits for the USMNT friendlies goes back to the federation, I believe. FCD gets all of the revenue from the stadium for the rest of the events, though we let the city of Frisco use the stadium for a certain number of high school football games free of charge(concession money goes back to FCD)

In honor of Lamar Hunt and his hometown area - because it is a state of the art facility, with practice fields, and a fabulous field.

We were in the black last year - 2006. But this certainly helps towards a profitable 2007.

What boomer said about revenues is correct. So drink plenty!

I have gotten offers from several Inferno girls who would like to let Senor Cool stay the night with them. Unfortunately, due to high school soccer playoffs, I have to come back after the game. Sorry ladies!

Hey, I've been meaning to mention to you that the president of your school's PTO is a good friend of mine at my church. So watch out, I might just rat you out one of these days! ;)

I have that Paid Time Off thing too. It is called off-campus duty. Whenever I need to leave, I just say I am going to a soccer-related event and they call it Off Campus Duty. I love that deal.

That should be cool for you to hear, no?:)
