Seriously guys I'm looking for suggestions to make the BS Cup better, if you have any ideas on how to deal with this, please post them.

See, I don't see why it has to be better. I know it sucks to be sandbagged, but I got absolutely hammered last year. This year I'm trying not to promote into DV, so my first team has been playing in friendlies. An added bonus is I am now competitive in the BS Cup.

Maybe you could rank based on Non-competitive and competitive [combined] hat-stats? Or develop limiters as to what teams can go to which cups [IGN or MM].

I've thought about multiple divisions of the IGN, but that still doesn't stop the sandbagging.

I don't want to have a limiter for age/hatstats/etc for the IGN/MM, because the IGN and MM were not just set up for stronger teams in the MM and weaker in the IGN. It was more set up because many experienced teams wanted to spend more time flag chasing or whatever.

If you had two IGN division sandbagging in the lower one would be less since the difference between first and second team for new teams isn't that much for new teams in hatstats terms.

That's true. And then I could divide the IGN by age of team. Like the lower level could be for teams less then 2 full seasons old maybe.

Well, the 3 teams I played in the group stage are in the semifinals.

I predict FC Tucson-SI of Boston final with FC Tucson winning.

I wouldn't bet on that just yet. Springfield/Henderson should be a great game. Plus, those two teams are much stronger than Manu (sorry) and me. Manu's also gonna want revenge on me, so I'm not holding my breath.

    Either way, it'll be fun.

I obviously need to work on my seeding better, or fire my wife as the official name drawer, as 2 groups have the 4 semifinalists.

I'm just basing it on what happened in my games. Your team can score with the best of them. SI of Boston's defense is really good though. Henderson is kind of in the middle little of both. You did beat my team 9-1 twice.
