This year there has been many changes to the team. I was just wondering how do you think our team is going to do this year. And do you guys think this years team will be better than last years?

I don't know how we will do this year, it seems we kind of evened out in terms of talent. I just really wished we could have kept the same team from last year for one more season, I believed that team would have had an honest shot at the MLS Cup.

    The negatives, we lost
    Palencia
    Bradly
    Regan
    JOB- does he even count?
Whitfield(?) not sure if he still here or not

We lost another guy with a bad attitude who took stupid hard fouls, I forget his name.

    The Positives we added
    Amado Gueara
Cunliffe, hes looking like a great find
Bornstein is coming into his own
    Maykel Galindo
    Zotinca- lost of MLS experience
    Arvizu

In the end I think we'll be fine. playoffs IMO are a lock, particularly with the new MLS format.

April 7th is right around the corner

Don't forget, Loquito is gone too, I'm sure he's thrilled to be riding the bench at Tigres.

my concern in addition to those positives and negatives mentioned above is the health of those that stayed on board.
I'm talkin about Razov, Marsh, Suarez, Llamosa :)rolleyes: ), these guys have a lot of playing experience but those years take a toll on the legs!
I hope these guys can stay healthy because the bench seems a bit thin.

I willl also miss Tim Regan. He was a pleasant surprise last year. (in addition to Johnny and Sasha of course!)

I hope that Preki takes advantage of this wonderful first coaching experience and I hope that Bradley has offered his cell phone number.

I am looking forward to the ChivaFest on March 11th to get to size up the new recruits and get excited about the upcoming season.

    Go Chivas!

First...... i hate how we traded away our DP spot for Amando. I like Amando and think he's a great player. But I don't think he's worth it for that type of trade.

Paco's loss is going to be hard to fill. He demanded 2 man coverage and got it. That's why Razov was left open so much. If a team doubled Razov... Paco was left open.

The offense is left in the air right now, cuz who knows if Borboa (if he's signed) or Cunliffe will be able to fill that role like Paco did.

Garcia is a cocky idiot who got what he deserves. Let him keep the bench warm and clean for Tigres. Impatience earned him that spot. Feyanoord offered a very low price for him from what i hear. And he took offense with the FO and left.

Marsh will still be presence in the Mid. Him and Sacha got a great relationship and are paired up very well together. Suarez adapted very well and should that he still got in him.

Llamosa.... I hope to read about you walking into traffic soon. Die a slow painful death.

Regan left the defense in shambles with him going to Toronto. Hernandez filled the spot as a sub but he made alot of stupid fouls and caused a few penalties. But now that we got Barrera .... we should be okay there.
