Please use this thread for in-game discussion and play-by-play. Game time is 1:30 pm CT.

This game will be televised on live on FSC and FSE (re-broadcast on FSC at 11:00 pm).

La Norteña (formerly Concierto), 850 AM and 101.7 FM, may broadcast the game in the Houston area in Spanish. According to the press release announcing the radio deal, they'll have a half hour pre-game show starting at 1:00 pm. The "Upcoming Matches" section on the first page of the official Dynamo site shows no radio for this game, but the information on that section of the site was often wrong last year. Make of that what you will.

People are gathering to for a viewing party at the Mezz.

For pre-game questions, discussion, articles, etc.:

    For post-game discussions, articles, etc.:

I'm stuck over in Dallas, but I hear that a couple guys from the orange helmet crew are dropping by to join you this afternoon.

Meanwhile, I'll be following my super secret FSC stream while hiding in the back of the classroom pretending to study.

Hey guys just wondering why this game is being played at 2:30 (1:30 CT)?

Is it because Puntarenas doesn't have lights or something else?

    Bingo........no lights.

For a time they were going to move the game to their Capitol for the same reason.

FSC coverage just started. Just showed some crowd shots, there's some open seats, hard to tell how full it is.

I'm at home watching with a couple of friends, if there's anyone monitoring this thread without tv, let me know and I can provide some play by play notes.

I believe they said on the Radio that 40% of the tickets were sold. but that they hold like 20% for game day. It is also Ash Wed.

Your goal keeper is drinking a lot of gatorade right now, after 5 seconds of game!

Pregame still going on. End line section stands on one end is almost empty. They haven't shown the other end. Maybe the crowd effect won't be as bad as some had expected. (The end line they are showing is the one behind the Dynamo goal, so Onstad shouldn't have too much problem in the first half with fans behind him). They just briefly showed the other end, it's covered and in shade, so it has more fans. So in the second half, Onstad will have more fans behind him.

Match underway. Dynamo with new white road shirts, with orange shorts. Puntarenas in orange tops with black short.
