I was a big sports gambler a few years ago. Unfortunately now, I can't get any of the sites I used to accept my credit card, and my credit card company also won't permit transfer to their third party accounts, i.e. FirePay, Neteller, etc. ANy suggestions?

I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use your credit card, unless your credit card company is able to block the transaction. How many online sites have you tried? If your desparate you could always use an outfit like fonbet who accept western union deposits. That's not the most economical way to go about it but it does work.

Yesbet, Alohacasino, intertops, and World Sports Exchange.

Every time, my credit card is declined. (It's not my card, I can use it for anything else no problem.)

I had a friend who was unable to use a card because the credit card company was somehow able to block transactions with online sports gambling sites. I don't know how they could exactly do that but evidently they did. I've never used the sites you mention. Maybe try bet365, gamebookers or interwetten. I know that they're all easy to set up accounts with.

Canbet very often have the best prices for soccer. I haven't started an account with them yet but I plan to once I'm in a position to make a decent withdraw elsewhere.

Credit card companies are now blocking about 80% of all transaction with online gambling sites.

You can still use Firepay if you set it up directly through your bank using a checking or savings account. You'll have to make a cash deposit to the 3rd party and then use the 3rd party to make deposits to the site.

Sportsinteraction are OK, but for soccer they don't have much of a selection in terms of leagues offered or selection of bets. It's better for soccer than most of the other American-focused sites but still isn't as good as the non-American focused sites. I like the layout of their site, though.

What other US sites beside SportsInteraction have MLS?

Sportsbook.com usually do but they're crap. I think Olympic Sports does. And I know I've seen lots of others but I don't usually deal with outfits that focus on US sports so I don't really remember names. I imagine most offer MLS though.

Re: Re: Best Sites to use

One of my credit cards has it in the terms of the account agreement. I imagine thye're probably wise to the 3rd party setups, too.

What's need is a FAQ about pulling that off...

Neteller with a VISA-linked ATM card; not a credit card. That is reported in many “straight gambling” forums to be one of the last “good” ways to do it.

Obviously, they’re not really “US sites” but among those that focus on traditional U.S. Sports (NFL, MLB, etc.) and also carry every MLS game that I’ve seen are:

    www.pinnaclesports.com, www.5dimes.com, www.megasb.com, and www.thegreek.com
