As much I like the guy, and as great as I think he is, I still don't think of him as a "superstar". Maybe for an American soccer player, that's the proper tag, but for me it doesn't. A star, yes. A superstar, no. btw, where's that Gatorade commercial anyway?
yeah i swear they teased it in the opener but i didn't see any highlights. maybe something in the top ten? i've never been an SC basher but that was really disapointing. You'd think they could've put down the Mike Price/Larry Eustachy stuff for one day to show some highlights of something 70k people showed up to watch, and their networks carried. i know its a busy sports week but cmon.
There were highlights on sportscenter when I watched it this morning at 7am which is usually just the rerun of the 1am showing for the Pacific audience.
